Where do I begin? I imagine that my review will be so effusive that Zillow will not believe that it is legitimate!
I was looking to buy a duplex in the South Bay and Lizabeth was recommended to me by a yoga friend. Well, everyone recommends their real estate agents, so I didn't pay it much mind, but this woman was so insistent that I had to use Lizabeth, that I agreed to meet with her and check her out. It was one of the best moves I’ve ever made.
I was not an easy client: limited income coupled with big expectations. I wanted to buy a duplex in Manhattan or Hermosa Beach, a very desirable and coveted property, amid a booming and fiercely competitive beach market. The short story is that I was able to purchase a beautiful ocean-view duplex, despite a sale contingency on my primary home, a 90-day escrow, and multiple offers, including all-cash offers higher than my sale price. Moreover, due to Lizabeth’s guidance and her top-notch broker, the bank agreed to lend me the money:)
This purchase would absolutely, unequivocally, not have happened without Lizabeth's commitment, dogged determination, perseverance, experience, intelligence and hard work (very hard work). I've never had anyone so fiercely in my corner as Lizabeth was throughout this whole transaction (including the sale of my primary residence). I mean, who has a real estate agent who will talk you OUT of buying a particular property (this happened twice)? Who has a real estate agent who personally inspects the termite work done on your new property and lo and behold discovers that they didn't complete the job despite reports to the contrary? Who has a real estate agent that does so much research on the seller of a property, that this information allows you to craft an offer that puts you way ahead of the pack despite overwhelming odds? Who has a real estate agent that is in almost daily contact with your loan broker to ensure that each step that is taken will not in any way threaten your ability to close the deal? Who has a real estate agent that is so intelligent and thorough that every paper you sign, each move that is made, and every transaction, no matter how trivial, is meticulously thought-out and crafted to ensure that you arrive at your intended result: a great price on my existing home and a duplex by the beach!
There are so many other ways in which Lizabeth went way above and beyond the call of duty throughout both of my transactions. In fact, there are many things that I will not mention in this review, as I can’t possibly believe she would extend such graciousness and generosity to every client. I’ve bought and sold numerous residences and investment properties in my life and I have never had this type of experience with a real estate professional (not even close!). Needless to say, I give Lizabeth my highest recommendation. Her skills are absolutely top-notch, but more importantly, she has buckets of integrity and is genuinely and tirelessly committed to her clients.

Liz is so experienced and knowledgable that I would not trust another realtor to be able to compete. Her negotiating skills are remarkable. She was able to complete a purchase after I thought the sellers were no longer interested . In addition, she is able to stage a house to sell quickly. She sold one of my properties on the first day on the market, at full asking price! I have worked with her three times and would highly recommend her.

Lizabeth Walker has in-depth experience in selling in very complicated markets over the last several years and her knowledge of real estate and real estate transactions is impressive. She is extremely bright and easy to work with and her level of customer service and customer care is top notch. I would hire Lizabeth again in a heartbeat. We have bought two homes from her, one in 2000 and the second one in 2010, both in different areas of the city. Although she specializes in the South Bay, our second home was purchased in Pasadena. You would have thought she was a specialist there because of the research she did and the fabulous advice she gave us. There were seven offers on the house and she was able to guide us to get the house even for a lower price than the highest bidder. If it can be done, Lizabeth will know the strategy!
