Bought a home in 2013.

Dana is quite possibly one of the sweetest people I have met and a very knowledgeable realtor. My husband and I came to know, love, and trust her in January 2013 while purchasing our first home in Phenix City, AL. My husband got orders to Fort Benning and we headed that way from Texas after the holidays. Our trip to Georgia was not one I would gladly repeat. We had an infant, two dogs, car trouble, and my hisband's step-father passed away. We were in contact with Dana during all of this as she was trying to locate a rental home for us. We were in a huge hurry and she did everything to accommodate us. When we found out my husband had to go back to Texas for the funeral, Dana even offered to let us use her home as a storage facility. I have never met someone so unbelievably nice, it was refreshing. Dana showed us houses until 8pm because she knew how important it was for us to find a home (after we decided to buy instead of rent). When we finally found the right house, she worked late into the night getting our paperwork together and we put our offer in at 10pm. She then took the time to explain everything to us because we were first time homebuyers and she did this in a way that didn't make us feel like complete idiots. There were a few things we wanted in addition to what came with the house such as a refrigerator, fenced backyard, an early move in date, and for the seller to pay all closing costs. She negotiated all these things for us and we were able to move in within a week! Dana made spending $200,000 a great experience, which says a lot considering how cheap my husband is! We felt a special connection with her and now we count her as a friend. I feel like she truly understood our needs as a military family considering her husband just retired after a 20 year career in the Army. I would recommend her to anyone who is looking for a dedicated and friendly realtor and I look forward to working with her when we need to rent our home out and move on to our next adventure.
