Thank You Sean!

My wife and I had the luck and opportunity to work with Sean on our first home purchase. Let me just say, I couldn't be happier.

To those of you who have not bought a house, the process is ridiculous, long and fraught with complications (those who have know). Not only the legal and financial ones, but the emotional and decision making complications that come when bidding on multiple houses, and looking at many more.

Sean was always patient with us as first time buyers. He hand held when he needed to, and warned us when he thought we were making the wrong choice for us. I can't say it enough - when you are in a first time stressful situation, it is important to have a trusted voice in the room that can take a step back and say, "This isn't the house that we talked about 3 months ago, this isn't the house that you got excited about last month, and I think that you should slow down and think about it."

Sean always provided that feedback, and we got tired and worn out with the search and thought about settling for other things just to be done, Sean stepped back and said, "are you sure? This doesn't seem like you guys." And, he was right.

His persistence, guidance and patience helped us avoid houses that we almost "settled" on (thank god!) and allowed us to be prepared, excited and aggressive when the right house (the one we got) finally showed up on the market. When that house did pop up, he took a look for us while we were at work, and then, even though we were tired and apprehensive, pushed us and reminded us about our goals, talked about the houses we had seen, and pointed out that this house really fit everything we wanted.

Now, I don't want you to think that he was pushy in his nature towards us. In fact, totally the opposite. It's more that as you tire of the looking, contemplating, freaking out etc. Sean will be that voice that remains steady saying, "This is the one! Don't stop now, this is it!" (Providing that he agrees that this is the right house). That is a voice that you need, I promise.

Finally (not to go on and on) Sean had an incredible network of people that supported him, from his company, to people in mortgage and finance, to everything else. He managed, through complications and tight deadlines, to get our house closed on the correct closing date - seriously against all odds. He is truly fighting in the trenches with you every minute.

So, to end, Sean helped us find a house that we love by being a great real estate agent and an excellent, trustworthy human being. I couldn't recommend him more to you, and I hope that you do choose to work with him and get the place that you wanted.
