Deb Christensen helped me find and purchase a town home in Plano in 2010. Here's how good Deb is: She had a town home in the same development that was listed with her. And she showed it to me. But there was another one, a foreclosure, that was clearly better all of the way around for me. Deb didn't hesitate to recommend that we put in an offer on it.

It was a very difficult real estate transaction--it was a foreclosure, the listing agent worked for a huge firm and was lazy and didn't want to lift a finger, the homeowners association refused to give us any information demanded by the mortgage financier, the bank that owned the property was slow to respond, even ignoring our requests for needed information. Deb was on top of it all of the way through. A couple of times, the bank tried charge me for things that had been assessed of the property before I ever saw it, let alone thought of buying it. She was right on top of that, too, telling the bank we were more than willing to walk away from the deal if they were going pull that kind of nonsense.

Deb is MY Realtor. For good. She is a consummate professional, a joy to work with, and, for me anyway, a dear friend. I wouldn't trust my business with anyone else.

And there's one more thing. After the closing, Deb has stayed in contact. She has a wealth of contacts of tradesmen and women, all of whom do quality work at rock bottom prices. She has a sort of homeowners network that helps her clients long after the sale. How many real estate agents to you know that do that?
