Keeping these things in mind, Vi always gave me an honest rundown of the pros and cons of each property, backed by her extensive knowledge of the city, comparable sales within the neighborhood, and other related factors, but never pushing me in any one direction.
Without Vi guiding me through every step of the way, there is no doubt that I would not have been able to purchase my first home in this competitive market. Once I decided to put in an offer, Vi went into action and leveraged her knowledge and relationships to help me put together the best possible offer, while working her magic with the seller's agent.

I sought out Vi through Zillow and couldn't be luckier to have landed such a fantastic buyer’s agent. To begin, Vi knows all the SF areas very well, including all the new developments. She is transparent with her opinions, offering good perspective from both primary residence and investment standpoints. She has a fantastic network in the real estate market, whether it was with listing agents (which could make or break a deal) or mortgage brokers and contractors. Her best quality is her ability to match my intensity when it came to finding a property. I entered the market when competition was incredible, which required decisiveness and intensity. Vi was totally on-the-ball, sending me listings as soon as they came on the market, drafting offer letters within hours of us deciding to execute (even completing one near midnight), quickly turning around any questions or research requests I had, and accurately probing listing agents about demand and interest levels of each unit. Though I hope no one needs to endure such crazy bidding wars, rest assured that Vi will guide you through the process. Of course, it also helps that she is one of the friendliest people I know. In the end, 20+ positive reviews can only tell half the story, as simple paragraphs would not do justice to the help she provided. Any prospective home buyer/seller will just have to give her a call and see for themselves.

I previously worked with Vi to sell my home and she did such an incredible job that I called on her again to help me find an investment property in SF. Just as I started to feel priced-out of the quickly recovering market, Vi found me a fantastic off-market 2 bedroom on Berry Street that seemed too good to be true. She explained to me that this building was in litigation because of SB 800 and put me in contact with a mortgage broker who would finance the building. I purchased in July and this unit closed at the lowest cost per square foot in the building in 2013. In a rising market, that was quite an accomplishment. I now have a great investment in SF and I have a paper profit from the start. If I never found Vi, I would have never known of this off-market deal. I would have probably gotten discouraged by the rising prices and given up my search. Instead, I’m thrilled with my purchase and I look forward to working with Vi again on my next investment.

Bought a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $675K in Cambrian Park, San Jose, CA.
Vi helped me buy my first home in early 2013. Although she specializes in San Francisco and surrounding areas, her knowledge of the South Bay was as good as any other realtor I've met in my area. Before we began, I appreciated that she discussed my budget with me in depth and led me to be more realistic about what I could afford. The houses in my range were all going for above asking, so I had to adjust my expectations.
I found my house right away- within two weeks, which I didn't expect to happen since the market was so hot. Vi and I both knew we had struck gold and had to move on it right away. Unlike the other houses in my range, there was no offer date set, so I put an offer in hours after I toured the house. The paperwork was signed the next morning, and moments after, another offer came in. Without her advice to put an offer in right away, I would have lost the house. It was a bit scary, but she knew exactly what she was doing.
Vi also leveraged what she knew about the sellers when she wrote the offer. The realtor had told us that they hadn't yet started looking and were more casual about this sale, so my offer included an opportunity to rent back to take some of the pressure off. The sellers said this sealed the deal for them, because I didn't offer much over asking.
I was continuously impressed by Vi's skills throughout every step of the process. The mountain of paperwork became less intimidating because she was able to explain everything simply and accurately. I could reach her at any time on any day, it felt like I was her only client. My budget was probably smaller than 95% of her clients, but she never made me feel like it. This was a huge milestone in my life and I couldn't imagine using anyone other than Vi. She has me for life!
