Wendy Wilkinson-Lyster
I'm a Portage native having been born and raised in the local area. My youth was filled with extra-curricular activities and organizations centered around school, family and athletics (mainly soccer). Even with my father's "misguided" attempt to make me a Hoosier, I successfully became a Bronco fan. I graduated from Western Michigan University with a degree in Marketing in April 2000. During the summer breaks of high school & the first few years of college, I worked as a closing agent at Metropolitan Title Company. The last few years of college I worked as a Real Estate Assistant. In June 2000 I received my State of Michigan Real Estate Sales License. In 2001, I received my ABR Designation, in 2004, I received my GRI Designation & in 2009, I received my CDPE Designation. On a personal note, I've been married to my husband, Mark, since August 2002. We had a son, Mason, in July 2005 and a daughter, MaKenna, in January 2012. My attention to detail, coupled with a strong desire to provide exemplary service, make an unbeatable combination.

Bought a Single Family home in 2004 for approximately $250K in Schoolcraft, MI.

In some ways, this is rather difficult. To begin, she sold my prior house (in 3 days) and handled the purchase of my current home. A couple of years ago we toyed with the idea of moving and even though she told us we were forbidden to move she found a number of properties to look at. Wendy always has command of all aspects of real estate, she takes charge and gets the job done. I trust her advice and insight without hesitation. Many people will only see her professional side. Since I bought the house directly across the street from her, I get to see her personal side. There is pretty much no difference between the professional and the personal. In short, I have a great realtor, a great neighbor and a great friend. That is hardly ever guaranteed in the fine print.  More Less

Bought a home in 2012.

Wendy has a first hand knowledge of the area around South Haven. She has demonstrated this on several occasions both during our purchase back in 2012 and since. Wendy is very easy to work with and has been very helpful before, during and after the purchase. She also keeps her clients informed with helpful information in a monthly newsletter sent via email. Bought a Single Family home in 2009 for approximately $150K in Plainwell, MI.

We used Wendy to purchase our home! She was so professional and a pleasure to work with. She kept up informed thoughout the process and went to bat for us on all levels. We enjoyed the home buyer expereince and it had all to do with Wendy!
