I am a consumer with no professional involvement in the real estate industry  (nor am I a Zillow employee).    

I am a strong believer in education, and consumer responsibility to gain the education for themselves.    I  enjoy guiding  people as they pursue their education as consumers, even if that means answering the same question on advice for the 1000^th time, so the consumers have the tools to make the right choice for themselves in buying, selling or merely exploring the area.

Home purchase is not an emergency and shouldn't control one's life.    It can be tempting to extend too far too soon to buy too quickly.   Why the stress?   Selling is a stressful time, step back and look at the big picture. 

I like to see honesty.  Zillow is transparent in many of their calculations.   I ask the same of those in the industry as agents, appraisers and lenders – have the numbers to support your claims.
