As a licensed Arizona Real Estate Agent and proud member of the Southeast Valley Regional Association of REALTORS , Michelle Shelton has much more than expertise in Real Estate. Her expertise in critical aspects of business management includes marketing, branding, customer relations and employee development. She is a recruiter and the training coordinator with Keller Williams Realty and teaches skills such as listening, tactful negotiation and client excellence.
Her listing presentation differs greatly from other agents who take a selling approach. Michelle offers clients options and then gives them freedom to choose what is right for them with no pressure or sales pitches. As a buyer’s agent, she asks the right questions to determine her clients home buying goals and then develops a strategy that will best meet these goals. Michelle’s entrepreneurial spirit stems from growing up in a family owned business in Nebraska. Her father was a successful businessman who single-handedly branded his company name by becoming an innovator in the self-service gasoline industry. He took a small bait shop and turned it into a Multi-Million dollar chain of Convenience Stores. Michelle gained a wealth of practical knowledge by working closely with her father on different aspects of the business, working at and eventually managing several of the stores herself. Michelle has always had a competitive spirit and moved to Arizona to Bass fish professionally. Prior to Real Estate, Michelle founded Our Daily Bread, a bakery equipment business in Omaha and in order to develop greater visibility for her business she taught adult education classes through MetropolitanCommunity College in Omaha, Nebraska. She provided marketing and Public Relation services for Weather Wise Roofing, and Getko Group , a division of Cendant. She has managed the in-store promotions for Sears in 14 Arizona stores. Michelle also held marketing and sales positions for various other companies in the EastValley. Michelle’s creative imagination gives her an edge in home sales through newsletters, advertising, layouts, and sales flyers. Michelle has the tireless energy necessary to meet the challenge of a successful and painless Real Estate transaction. Her negotiation skills stem from an attitude of creating a win/win situation for everyone involved.
