12/27/2010 - conzimuffinSold a Single Family home in 2010 for approximately $250K in Salem, MA.
I first met Jim when he was the seller's agent on a house in Salem we were purchasing. He was so honest, kind, and easy to talk to that my husband and I swore that if we ever sold our we would list it with him. Well, 3 years later we did list our house and asked Jim to be our listing agent. (We also also asked us to be our buyer's agent when we bought a new, bigger house soon after)
Jim has a vast amount of knowledge. Not only about the house buying/selling process but also about the the North Shore in general, neighborhoods, mortgages, home repair etc. We spent a lot of time with Jim in the 6 months it took to sell our house and we couldn't recommend him more highly. What I love about him is that although he knows a lot (definitely more than we do!), he isn't pushy. For example, when he suggested we lower the price on our house he never pressured us to do so. He simply gave us the advice and moved on. If you're buying a home in the North Shore, you have to go with Jim Armstrong. Jim IS the North Shore!…More Less
