Zillow's estimates are very inaccurate. I think much of that is due to anyone being able to put anything in the price field. Therefore, property values are either too high or too low. As much as most everyone would like to know the approximate value of their home without paying an appraiser or speaking with an agent, the best way is still through comparables by one of these professionals. These professionals have access to much more accurate sales data than can be provided by an online company or any individual in general.
Here is what I originally meant to type: I logged into my account this morning to find I can no longer see all Q&A for my area. I can only post questions to individual properties now. Has Zillow removed this feature? I agree with Renee. In my area, a lot of questions go unanswered for days. Many people and agents post their homes on Zillow and don't login to check for questions. These questions often go unanswered for months and many of the properties still posted out there have already sold or are no longer on the market. Therefore, I try to log in every couple of days or so and answer as many as I'm able to. I'm hoping this is just an oversight by Zillow and not a "feature".
Sorry about the typo. Should have been "see" instead of "sell".

This home was up for lease rather than for sale. It leased in November of 2007. There are several homes in this same neighborhood for sale between 173,000 and 193,000 depending on size. There is one for sale on the street for 235,000 but it is much larger than the others. The homes are in the Columbia Elementary district and the Bob Jones High district. If these homes interest you, I can email you a list of everything for sale there. If not, specify what price range and/or area, and I'll email you a list of those. Just click my profile and send me an email or visit my web page at www.HuntsvilleAlabamaHouses.com and contact me from there.Regards,Todd

Zillow's tools don't seem to be functional for the Huntsville area yet. Most likely this is due to lack of comparable sales in the Zillow system. I can get you an estimate of this home's worth. Simply visit my webpage at www.HuntsvilleAlabamaHouses.com and look in the text for "send me an email". Click on that and put the address of the home and a request for its value in the email. I will send you a detailed comp report of comparable sales.
