Yvonne Cocino is a full time real estate professional with 26 years experience selling homes, condominiums and two to four unit buildings in San Francisco. A native of New Jersey, Yvonne moved to San Francisco after graduating from college. The hot real estate market of 1975 engaged her entrepreneurial spirit and she has been involved with it ever since. She has bought, remodeled and sold fine residential San Francisco properties, and she has experience working on the condo conversion process. In addition, she has owned and managed multi-unit buildings in Texas.
Yvonne's previous work experience includes teaching in a Head Start program where she worked with disadvantaged families as well as various careers in the insurance industry. She holds a B.S. degree from the University of Dayton with a major in Marketing and a minor in Psychology, and a M.A. degree in Early Childhood Education.
Some of Yvonne's outside activities include volunteering every week for the St. Vincent de Paul Society and helping to clothe the homeless. She enjoys black and white photography and has exhibited her photographs at venues around the Bay Area. Along with her husband Barry, Yvonne enjoys traveling and considers Italy her favorite destination. In addition, she is an active supporter of the arts and is a member of the Fine Arts Museum of SF and the Museo Italo Americano. She is also a subscriber to KCSM Jazz 91, SF Opera, SF Ballet, ACT and Cal Shakes.
Yvonne's professional philosophy is that real estate is a people business, selling service and expertise, not just real estate. Yvonne welcomes new clientele and is eager to show them why her business is a natural outgrowth of loyal clients returning to her and referring their friends.
