My wife and I were presented with a sudden opportunity to relocate to California. We interviewed Mike as a top choice seller’s agent based on seeing him working in our neighborhood. He assured us that he was comfortable working with us in this sort of relocation scenario and we took off across the country, leaving him the keys and anticipating a quick and easy closing. Boy oh boy, it was anything but! Mike worked patiently through the initial staging and setting up, even coordinating a service to haul away old furniture and clean up. The opening weekend blew the doors off, with multiple offers and ultimately a great selling price. The closing got stretched out because of various this and thats. Mike worked with us, letting people in and out of the house as needed. With a bit of handholding and only a little angst, we all made it over the finish line to closing. Mike was referred to us by the realtor who had helped purchase our condo, and we're glad that he did. We used Mike's services in selling our condo and buying a single family home at the same time. Selling and Buying properties in parallel is never easy, especially in today's crazy market. Right from helping pick the paint colors for our condo being sold, to helping select a staging agent to doing research re: comparative sales in our vicinity, Mike did it all. In parallel, Mike helped us research houses in areas of interest. Being a young couple with a 7 year old, we had a wishlist for ourselves but most importantly we needed areas with a good public school system. Mike shortlisted houses for us to visit every weekend, and diligently made sure to come with us to every single appointment and open house. Additionally, Mike's past experience in the Springfield school system was also useful in identifying the nuances of each area's school system. Additionally when there was a gap in our condo sale and single home purchase, Mike helped work out a Use-and-Occupancy for us with our condo buyer so that we had a place to stay while we waited to close on our new home. All in all, our journey of selling our property and buying a new home took 6.5 months from start to finish. We couldnt have picked a better, more honest, more patient and diligent agent than Mike, and we'd recommend him to anyone looking to buy or sell a property without hesitation.
