Quincy Senior High School in my opinion is a fantastic school to learn. High School is not always a great experience for everyone but here at the administration here along with fellow students helps to make that possible. We have AMAZING school spirit along with great sports and clubs/activities. We strive to be the best that we can be. I really do love QHS. It has great class sizes awesome teachers healthlier lunches and is a place where students can come and feel safe and be themselves. QHS is accepting of everyone. Academically we achieve greatly. Our school is great but every school can always use some improvement. We would benifet from even healthier lunches and snacks. I believe it students and faculty eat better they wil preform better in and outside of school. I believe we would also benefit from a more clean/fixed up school. Our school does not look the best and it would be nice if we could paint classrooms a more vibrant color to wake us up and fix up the ceilings! Quincy Senior High is a great school!! You should come check it out sometime ) Thank you.

QHS is an amazing high school....especially considering the size of the Quincy and the tax base that provides funding. It boasts over 60 college credit bearing courses extra-curriculars that are often only found in large cities and a sense of community. I consistently hear college bound QHS graduates talk about how prepared they were for their first year of college. And for non-college bound students QHS offers vocational training that is second to none. The teachers are well educated and passionate about ensuring that students learn the right way to do things....they don't just teach to the test. Quincy only has one public high school so EVERY student that does not attend the private Catholic school goes to QHS. While this does mean that test scores are not going to be as high as a school in a wealthier more upper class areas it is this diversity makes it a richer environment for students. Students not only go to school with kids who are 'like' them they learn how to work with a variety of people who may have a totally different background.
