This was my Childs first year at West Hoke middle school sad to say its December now and I will be homes schooling him for the rest of the year. Some of the teachers are just there to suck up air and get a pay check they could care less about the students at all. The principal of this school has no clue what is going on. Some of the kids are horrible at this school my son was bullied everyday and there was nothing done about. He was hit a few times and called racial names and the teachers claimed they would handle it and they never did We may try again next year but I feel sorry for the kids at this school. I would rather my toddler teach my son then some of these teachers if you don't care to teach then by all means find another profession teaching is a gift and if you don't have the patience to work with kids then obviously you do not need to be at a place full of KIDS.

west hoke is the best school a child can go to in hoke county.Your child will learn more and have fun learning. If parents spent more time with the child talking about the school or visiting the school they would know if the school is a good school and it is a GREAT SCHOOL. GO TIGERS

West hoke is whack i enjoy going there but i only enjoy it because my best friends go there and the teachers are really nice and helpful but the bathrooms have no soap to wash your hands there are no hand-sanitizer in any of the classrooms as there should be if it was not for the teachers and there helpful learning and there care west hoke middle school would be straight whack!

West Hoke Middle School is not a good school. I would never send my child there. The teachers are in fact caring and try their best however the district itself does not support this school. Too many bad kids are left in classrooms when at any other school they'd be expelled for behavior. This affects the learning. I've witnessed many great teachers turn in their resignations simply becasue they get no administrative support and the kids cannot be controlled. It is really a sad state of affairs there.

I have to agree with the other 2 reviews. WHM is not a very good school. I'm not sure if its all the schools here in the district or just this one school.

When I first moved here I heard parents call it West 'Joke' Middle School. Now afrer being here a year I see what they mean. This school has got to be the absolute worst school in the history of schools. The teachers that I have met seem like they are only there to collect a paycheck.

This has got to be the Poorest quality school in the U. S I have evever seen! A place where teachers demand respect without giving respect in return. What examples are wer setting for our future Americans?
