The combination of deep budget cuts and lack of leadership by the principal the teachers are challenged to do much more with much less. The environment is a stressed out one with many of the teachers in burn out mode (understandably). The facilities in the school are dated; paint chipping water fountains don't work playground equipment old and dangerous. Overcrowding a huge problem; kids crammed together at recess kids eat lunch in auditorium. This school is a disaster top to bottom but were are told the middle school is much better so we'll hang in there. If you can get your child into Catholic school for 5th and 6th grade I would highly recommend it.

Teachers are friendly the principal along with the assistant principal are very involved the school has a very strict set of rules (which though not a lot of people follow - but shows the staff sets them right.) P.S.S also has a very unique rewards program and also special contests that improve student's vocabulary abilities and also other special events that connect the school community together. It has tons of charm and nice big classrooms. The curriculum has many interesting topics that your child could learn and I think that 5th and 6th Grade are very easy compared to 7th grade and up where you get tons of classes. Pulaski Street School's charm friendly community and wonderful staff make the school a great place to learn.

My children learned so much there and looked foward to going there everyday. The teachers and staff really conected with the students. They didn't just learn they loved learning. Now I have a grandson who will someday attend such a great school! I am proud of Pulaski Street School!
