This school is great and I don't have anything bad to say about it beside the pick up situation in the afternoon. The teachers and staff are very helpful and try to stay on top of things

river city scholars has a lot of behavior issues. staff approach is to not address the behavior. but to over look neg. behavior and hope the child get it together. the resources are good but the behavior is horrible this in my opinion makes it hard for a child to learn and get the help they need

I have lived in this neighborhood for 23 years so my children and my grandchildren have attended or will attend this school. Not only is this a good school but has great resources for the extra things my children have needed speech dyslexia and their head start programs have all been wonderful. Please know they really have the child's success in mind.

Riverview Elementary is not only an A school but it has some of the best faculty. I cannot say anything bad about any of the teachers my kids have had. Next year all three of my kids will be at this school and I couldn't be more pleased. Hillsborough County is also the proud recipient of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation grant; one of only three counties in the country. I am so glad my kids are at this school.

When it comes to their newly added autism Program they all need to be better prepared to deal with those kids. Lack of training I have to sya.

I have recently enrolled my daughter in this school this year after taking the necessary actions to get her transfered with school choice. I cannot be more pleased with the decision that my family has made in doing so. There is so much structure and parent teacher involvement. This is going to be such a promising year for her. She is learning so much and getting straight A's and B's on all of her assignments. She told me that she is once again very happy to go to school! We are proud of her and the schools dedication to their children! Kudos- To RIVERVIEW ELEMENTARY!

This school is a pleasure to have been a second home away from home for all three of my children. The teachers and staff are wonderfull!

My son just back for 3rd grade and I was amazed at the support rc'd from the teachers. Mr Burton and Ms Bond are absolutely wonderful and are truly teachers--they meet with you when you want they send home progress notes and Ms Bond is very computer savvy her lesson plans are always spelled out for the parents so we know what is going on! The office staff is wonderful and very helpful as well as the school nurse asst how many would take the time to make sure 1 out of hundreds had his glasses? The ESE program was awesome and inventive anything to get the kids going and blossoming. I pray the experience last through next year the 4th grade. Oh they even did our IEP already--way different from Miami! Dr. Nelson always remembered or names and the principal always spoke as well.

Good school my daughter is learning a lot and enjoying herself. The PTA does a lot for the school and really cares about the children and their progress.

This school has some potential . The teacher my daughter has I am not to impressed by. There are some good teachers here though.

The school has high quality teachers. The building is old and the surrounding area is poor but the quality of education is very good.

The teachers seem disorganized and uninspired. They do nothing to promote the children's creativity. They are also lacking in the area of safety. On two occasions my children stayed after school for extracurricular activities and when I came to pick them up no one knew which class they were in.
