The A.C.E. system & the school of tomorrow (the curriculum this school uses) has been empirically shown through peer reviewed & repeated studies to poorly prepare children for any kind of college education let alone the basic ability to spell & think critically. These schools do especially poorly in mathematics & writing. To further compound this disastrous system the teachers have no qualifications whatsoever - truly. They do not have to be college educated or have even passed the simple PRAXIS exams (all public school teachers at a minimum must do this). The instructors are often parents. Once a child progresses in the PACES (the workbooks which A.C.E uses) to the point of algebra the "teachers" often must spend a day teaching themselves how to do it before they can help the children. Also on the religious note this school is heavily extremist Baptist & Mennonite run. There is also major (honest to Jesus) literal brain washing which occurs in A.C.E. schools. Almost every page of the workbooks is littered with either the torture of hell fire evils of the world inferiority of females & blatantly ethnocentric historical narratives and LONG disproved scientific ideas.

This is an excellent school. For all grades K-12 the school utilizes the PACE curricullum. In using this students are required to fulfill the standard years work but they are also able to work beyond that if they are able and willing. Each PACE is also assigned according to the students education level coming into the school. For example if you have a 4th grade child who excels in math & tests at a fifth grade level they will start that child at the 5th grade level. A childs academic possibilities here are amazing. The school is small & doesn't have the large activity schedule that you find at a public school but they are trying. There is a student newspaper a soccer team a volleyball team a basketball team and student council. They also have gym & art every week. There is some parental involvement & the school welcomes and encourages more.
