Cross and Crown Lutheran School gives high quality education with a strong Christian voice. My child currently attends this school and there are absolutely no behavior problems. In the past there had been a few children (and unresponsive parents) who had difficult behaviors and caused drama. However those children have now chosen to attend other schools. This is a wonderful community with a great parent-teacher commitment. Class sizes are small and teachers are dedicated working one on one with all students. This is a wonderful school-one that I would recommend to anyone!

My child currently attends Cross & Crown and I couldn't be happier with the education they are receiving. The reason I chose a private school is for the education they will receive compared to that of a public school not so I can shelter them from the world and other children. Each child deserves the chance to succeed no matter who they are. This is a great school with an administration and teachers who truly care about the success of each child.

2011-2013 This was a horrible experience for us. You can not take too lightly the subject of "Bullying" in any type of what an individual child experiences. The one parent was correct in saying "no follow-up". The pastor nor the "School Board" ever felt any concern about what is going on at their school. Almost a monthly basis the Teacher would tell parents she doesnt have 1 or 2 difficult children but 7 to 8. There would also be comments made by staff "this child doesnt belong here" Well where does this child belong??? This school was not a good experience for us all I can advise parents who are looking for schools for your children do your research. Make frequent visits to your potential school. My job as a parent who wants the best for their children is to put my experience out there for you parents and hopefully the school board of this school starts looking into some of these negative comments about their school.

I can not turn a blind eye on our experience at Cross & Crown. This is about the present time not many years past. Alumni past that is great that your experience was good for you but now we are talking about right now at this school. In the present time of children suicide at a high rate due too being "Bullying" of some type I would hope that all responsible adults are on the same page to do what needs to be done to try and help end this epidemic. It is my job to voice my opinion of our experience at this present time so that prospect parents will do their job and research all potential schools they chose for their children. The "writings on the wall" and the information is out there re the closing of this school in the past. We are all aware that "Bullying" goes on at all kinds of schools out there but it is up to the responsible parents to do what they can to help the correct authority to put a end to this. Alumni's get your college educations and maybe you can come back and help this school get back on track to when you left it. All I can say to you parents is do your research.

A true "family" school! We have been a part of this amazing school for 6 years. The teachers and the parents are so involved in the day to day and the overall success of our children! I feel so blessed to have such a loving and Christian environment for my child.

CCLS is the reason I am who I am today. I attended this school from 3-14 years old and I can honestly say it is my second home to this day. I am now on my way to college and I know that the education I received at Cross and Crown is the reason that I am so well off today. I still maintain a relationship with nearly all of my teachers and consider them family. Besides the quality of education and the caring loving teachers the environment at Cross and Crown encourages its students to go out in the world in an altruistic and caring way. I can guarantee that this is the sole reason why that over the past 15 years of my life (from when I started CCLS to now) I have volunteered for countless numbers of organizations and now am committed to working with MADD. Growing up in the Cross and Crown environment is a gift that my parents gave to me when they chose this school for me. I wouldn't trade my experience for anything in the world. Also some corrections - CCLS was NOT closed because of bullying... that is absolutely crazy!!! It was closed because of the extremely unfortunate state our economy was in. A CCLS education is by far the best around easily proved by test scores.

I am a CCLS Alumni who attended the school K-6th grade. When we moved I was able to test into the grade above so I feel as if I was more than adequately prepared for my remaining education in a different state. I have nothing but fond and positive memories of the school and all the teachers from this school. Highly recommended!

Cross and Crown is an amazing school!!!! I am an alumni who attended from preschool through eighth grade so I personally know how wonderful it is. (By the way the school did not close it down sized due to the economy not "BULLYING".) Going into high school I was ahead of the other students even in my advanced classes. This showed me what an advantage I had for being placed in Cross and Crown. Not only did I excel in my academics but I also grew in my faith. Not many schools are able to do this. Cross and Crown is still full of the loving and caring teachers who once taught me. This teacher/administrator was one of my favorites!!! Not in my 10 years of attending Cross and Crown do I once recall having this teacher INAPPROPRIATELY "raise her voice". Misbehaving children were always dealt with fairly. I think the new administrator is doing an amazing job and I will most definitely have my future children attend this remarkable school.

As an alumni of the CCLS I think I have a better understanding than the parents that think they know the school and what it could have offered their child if they allowed them to continue to attend. I attended CCLS from preschool through eighth grade. I had many wonderful teachers and created a lot of strong friendships there. I am disheartened to hear others bad mouthing the school I attended. Quite possibly it might be their parenting rather than the teachers influence on their students. I was accepted into a great local catholic school which demands an entrance exam before attending and I feel CCLS gave me the ability and knowledge to succeed. I hope my comment has helped others better understand why this school is so special and worth the time money and dedication.

CCLS is the reason that when I entered high school as a freshman I took junior level classes and by the time I was in my senior I had taken every AP class offered at my high school. It is alsl the reason why I am going to be attending one of the best colleges in the state this fall. It is the reason why I am a well rounded person thanks to all of my teachers always teaching me to care for others before myself and constantly encouraging to pursue sports and music in addition to my education. When I get married and have kids they WILL without a doubt attend CCLS. CCLS along with the church is my second home. I would be a very different and lesser person had I not grown up in this fabulous establishment.

I loved the small setting which created a tight knit community resulting in the caring of all children. My daughter thrived in the school both academically and socially. Loved the art program! Discipline is carried out appropriately. They do not let "bad behavior" go unnoticed by labeling them as bad kids. Rather the school guides individuals and their parents to exhibit correct behavior. Love being there and watching my little girl grow as a Christian and good citizen.

Cross and Crown School provides a wonderful learning environment where children are nurtured by caring and loving teachers. I am a retired teacher and have worked with students with different learning styles in the public schools. I have visited the classrooms many times at Cross and Crown and have seen the children at work and at play where they learn and develop academic and social skills. Curriculum follows California State Standards and is adapted to meet the individual needs of all students. Classes are small and children receive individual help and support. Cross and Crown School is a safe learning environment where students can develop and grow in knowledge of academics and as well as life skills.

I am always amazed at how caring and involved the staff is. With small classes the teachers are able to give lots of individualized attention to every child. Christian education at its best!!! --- grandparent and retired public school teacher

This is a small personalized school with caring teachers who exceed the standards. They deal with each child as an individual and work hard to make the students feel welcome and special. It is a loving environment.

My child attended this school last year. It's just as the other parents have said. Terrible. My son is not behind thanks to their outdated (from the 80's) curriculum. They let children with bad behavior attend this school. My son got pinched so bad it was bleeding and the teacher/administrator (same person) said "oh im so sorry. Im not sure why that happened". NO FOLLOW up at all. I took pictures of it too! Just in case anyone would like to see. Brutality. It's true that one reviewer said that the good kids get ignored. That's a correct statement. I feel sick to my stomach every time I drive by this school. This school should be shut down.

this school is terrible. My son attended Kindergarten here and they let all the trouble makers go here and be cruel to other children. There is no discipline policy. There are mean boys at this school that get away with pinching spitting kicking punching. I've seen it. The Kindergarten teacher is also the administrator. She hires college students (mind you we're paying almost 600 a month for not even a credentialed teacher here folks). The college student teacher your kid the whole day. It's ridiculous and the parents also put together the lunch program which they do not wear gloves and touch food with their bare hands. Parent beware of this school.

This school has a low enrollment due too the current children they have with behavior problems. I attended a day with my children with attention's of enrolling and while watching different interactions quickly changed my mind. Be very selective!!!!

At cross and crown the classes are small. You are with the same children everyyear and can not branch out and meet new people.
