Ross elementary is simply fantastic. 2 years ago they stripped the entire school down and performed a complete renovation since it had never been done. It is a very enjoyable facility to be in. The school requires a high amount communication from the teachers to the parents. We've seen this since my son's first day of school at Ross. If other schools had this approach parents would not be left in the dark about what's happening with their child. The teacher's weekly curriculum agendas are also shared with the parents which helps make the students and teachers accountable. If there's even a small behavior / academic issue parents instantly know so they aren't blind sided later. I can't speak to it personally but my friend's son is in the gifted program which is apparently challenging him far more than his previous school. I could go on and on....

My kids love Ross Elementary because the teachers get them involved in great activities and they make it so fun to learn. We had to move from Mt. Lebenon and I was afraid of the adjustment my kids would have to make but turns out during their first year at Ross their grades began improving emensly and I firmly believe it is because of the special attention the teachers and staff payed towards my childrens individual needs. Ross is a great school. I highly recommend it to anybody looking for the best edjucation possible for their children.

Ross elementary is an amazing school. They have a wonderful music progam. Your child will be taught how to read and understand music notes starting in kindergarden on through 6th grade and if they become more interest they offer a band program for your child. The art program is just as developed your child in first grade will begin going to an art class and learning the many different types of art as will as producing many beautiful projects. During their 30 minute recess many teachers in the school organize intramural sports like wiffleball kickball flag football basketbal dodgeball and capture the flag. The teachers are very dedicated to their students and are great mentors for them. The Academic programs are a very high quality. Ross also has a great Spepical Ed. and Speech Program. Over all Ross Elementray is a great school for any child.
