The outward bound programming provides great expeditionary learning opportunities though this year it seems they've reduced their committment to field study. The teachers make consistent effort. Given the diversity of the student population seems that leadership has a lot of growing to do in the area of cultural competency. Performance on standards of learning is particularly low in mathematics which is concerning when it comes to preparedness for college entrance exams.

I went and did a tour yesterday and I really think this school has great potentiel for becoming a great Environmental school. I am thinking of sending my daughter there next school year. We like being out in nature and taking care of the environment. That is what she will be able to do at this school. Planting gardens going on field trips weekly to places in the community and much more.
