I think this school is fantastic. It has a very high Spanish speaking population...which I believe is the reason for the low test scores. if you test these students in their native language I guarantee those scores would come way up! These kids are BRIGHT! They are eager to learn they are well mannered and have great support from their parents. The principal is the sweetest lady I have met. She works her tail off to provide a caring environment for these kids. She has three children of her own who attend this school. I would not choose a different school for my daughter. She has a WORLD of opportunities here. Literally! We have teachers from Spain Austria Guatemala...students from ALL over the globe. EVERY child has the chance to register for the dual language program starting in Pre-K. Your child will graduate 8th grade being totally fluent in Spanish! Which will guarantee them a very good job in adulthood. Agua Fria has a great afterschool program tons of activities for kids. Baile Folklorico Cooking with Kids N.D.I sports violin band orchestra choir art yearbook. Great community involvement Communities in Schools. No child goes without food clothing or LOVE!

Agua Fria Elementary is the best!!! It is a school on the cutting age of language learning and technology. All the teachers and staff are highly skill and committed to helping every child become a successful and productive adult. Every student learns not only their academic subjects but the lessons of Character Counts Restorative Justice and student wellness. There are a lot of activities to enhance our sense of community and all are welcome to be part of it. Parents are very much a part of the school and the Family Resource Center is the reason for their involvement. The Parent Teacher Committee works to make things happen as well. The school works wll and it is making great gains in students achievement. Go Roadrunners!!!!.
