As an alumni of The Geneva School I could not begin to speak enough about it. From the strong family-like community to the quality of the teachers and curriculum I would not change a thing about my time at The Geneva School. The teachers are engaged smart helpful and constantly trying to improve their teaching. As a student I was continually engaged in discussion and called to think critically about questions pertinent to living as a Christian in our post-modern world. The Geneva School has changed my life and opened up countless opportunities for me. During my senior year I was offered admission to several competitive programs within the field of engineering including Georgia Tech Rice and Carnegie Mellon University before ultimately choosing the Computer-Based Honors Program at the University of Alabama. I am still in touch with my teachers and classmates from my time at Geneva who continue to mentor me professionally and in my faith. I could not say enough about the school and I am honored to continue to be a part of The Geneva School's thriving community.

The Geneva School was just what the doctor ordered for my kids. They went to excellent out of state colleges and thrived (Vanderbilt Furman and Auburn) and today they have great jobs--- one an analyst on Wall St. 2 are practicing attorneys and one director of operations at a large private school. Geneva gave them the necessary tools to thrive in undergrad and graduate schools and in life---all are married and walking with the Lord. We will always be grateful for the foundation that Geneva gave our kids---a lasting legacy.

As a Geneva parent who fully researched an exhaustive list of community schools (including 6 campus tours) I could not be more pleased with our choice! Both of our children LOVE school and are thriving at Geneva! While other schools may offer more impressive facilities it is not the facilities that make a school. (We moved our children to Geneva from a school with a nicer campus.) Geneva's halls are filled with joy-filled students from PK4 - 12th who share a love of learning that is instilled & reinforced daily with great intentionality. The academically-rigorous masterfully-integrated curriculum comes to life via an unrivaled variety of engaging methods - taught by the most dedicated teachers imaginable! Our exemplary student/teacher ratio allows teachers to invest in each student's individual needs. While we are excited about the new campus we are content with our current facilities and respect our leadership's commitment to fiscal responsibility & the overall health of our school. (I should mention that our classrooms & halls are spacious and inviting.) I wholeheartedly believe that we could not find a better school for our children if we searched the planet!

My family loves The Geneva School. The Geneva School educates children's hearts minds and souls. Geneva strives to teach children about the goodness and beatuty within our world. I know it may sound corney but it is true. Through Geneva kids are given a world and ancient view of our society. I saw this first hand while visiting Italy and Turkey with family. I was amazed by my children knowledge of ancient times and how the past reflects on the present. I loved our conversations. I was amazed at my Son reading Latin inscriptions at the Vatican. And even more amazed when a priest came up to him and began a conversation with him about how and why he knew Latin. Geneva gave my Son the knowledge of Latin and it also gave him the self confidence to engage in dialgue with the Priest. It was truly a "Geneva Moment". In addition to the education we love the Geneva Community. I am continually proud when I see how Geneva Students represent themselves in our larger community. Be that a sporting event field trip theater or just a day on the beach Geneva Kids represent themselves well. When I see these kids/teenagers I am exctied for the Next Generation.

We have been a part of The Geneva School community for 4 years now and I couldn't be happier! The commitment to both academic excellence and spiritual nurturing is above and beyond anything I've experienced. Beyond the academics the community of families that are involved in the school are one of the truest representations of "the church" you'l find. Students that graduate from our school have been accepted to and attended top notch Universities many with full scholarships! I can't wait for my children to experience the rich environment of the upper school!!

This school is good for elementary school to set a good academic and religious foundation but I suggest taking your child out for middle and high school. If you look at the majority of their graduates they go to no-name colleges in the middle of nowhere.Their lack of various programs and electives is the cause of this. They simply do not have the amount of electives and programs to make your child stand out when applying for colleges. Also the children here are shielded for the outside world and get a society shock when they leave here.I'm not saying that children here should be around alcohol and substance abusers.I just believe that they should understand and realize those things are out there.Another thing is their campus and building is very small.Even though they keep on reassuring that the new one will be built soon it just doesn't look hopeful. Several families have been waiting for YEARS for the new building contributing large donation after large donation and it just has never happened. They haven't even started building anything yet after years of waiting patiently.I'm satisfied I took my children out and have given them greater opportunities by doing so.

...I wanted to add a review for the parents that are searching for a better education and perhaps the best in Florida. Suffice it to say that my son who graduated in 2011 is an Accounting major and on the Dean's List at UCF.....it was just a fleeting moment ago that we were walking into TGS for hisfirst dayin kindergarten class with Mrs. Reaves whom we still love and admire. Thank you to The Geneva School !

My children have been attending The Geneva School for a number of years. The school's leadership is top notch and their willingness to listen when you have an issue is outstanding. The Geneva School is unapologetic about expecting the most out of each and every child. But they provide a supportive environment and open communication with the parents to make that happen. We have been extremely happy with our choice of school for our children.

Our two boys have been attending The Geneva School for over two years now and we are very happy with the education they are receiving. Two things stand out about The Geneva School First the teachers are well educated and completely dedicated to providing the best education they can. Second the curriculum is organized around a principled approach that ties together history science and the humanities in a way that allows the students to see connections that they normally would not see at this age. Finally being smart and loving to learn is "cool" at The Geneva School without however creating a "pressure cooker" atmosphere. Instead everyone's strengths are acknowledged and any weakness addressed in a kind and supportive manner by everyone from the Principal and the Dean of Students through the teachers and staff and ultimately by the fellow students. I couldn't imagine a better environment for learning! I went to an excellent school and I often wish that I could have gone to the Geneva School!

My wife and I have found The Geneva School to be a special place for our three children to learn and grow. We haven't experienced a school where the curriculum stimulates our children's minds and at the same time mold their character. I cannot recommend strongly enough The Geneva School to any parent looking for a place to educate their children to compete in the 21st century.

My children have been here for 3 years now and I must say that I couldn't be happier. I wasn't planning to do private school but when my oldest was ready for Kindergarten i just couldn't imagine putting him on a school bus based on horror stories I've heard from other parents in the area. Is it expensive? Yes but scholarships are very available for those who need them (my kids go for half price) so just ask. What makes the school so great? Two things great curriculum great teachers. If you haven't heard of classical education it's basically going back to how people were educated in the medieval time period. So instead of "school's need more computers" they say "education has lost it's way lets go back to when it was great." And they do.

As the parents of a teenage boy picking a school can be a daunting task. We were looking for challenging academics school leadership we could believe in an encouraging and character forming Christian atmosphere and athletics. The Geneva School has delivered on all counts. The faculty at TGS is firm but encouraging and supportive. Being compassionate enough to understand that "boys will be boys" but firm enough to enforce fair standards of behavior is a difficult balancing act but the leadership at TGS does it with professionalism and grace. The curriculum is challenging but rewarding. We are grateful for the experience and education our son is getting and recommend the school without reservation.

The Geneva School has been a true God send for us. The moment I walked in the door I knew my children HAD to attend. The classical education integrated with the bible and crossing all subjects is amazing! the school is truly a community in and of its self. There are always things to do together whether its serving our community roller skating or Parent gatherings. The teachers are truly gifted by God and they pour their love of the Lord and teaching into the children every day. Being able to attend The Geneva School is a blessing we are grateful for everyday!

I absolutely love The Geneva School! I have one son who just finished his first year at TGS and it has been such a blessing to our family. The academics & curriculum are as strong as I've seen anywhere and every parent will love the combination of the Christian Classical method. The real difference though is that the faculty genuinely CARES about my child. And that extends to outside the classroom too. His teacher this year came to outside sports events and childrens' birthday parties gave us her cell phone # and her communication with me was absolutely unmatched. The small class sizes and dedicated teachers and staff are something very unique and special.

This will be our third year at The Geneva school. We have three children attending. We chose TGS out of all the other private schools in our area because of its classical approach to a Christian education. We love the curriculum but most of all we love the teachers and their dedication to their students. The Geneva School is in our opinion best described as a loving family.

STRAIGHT TALK HERE I will speak candidly in hopes that other searching parents may appreciate a practical voice. Our children have attended both public and "very recognizable" private schools and without exception The Geneva School has exceeded any previous measure. The culture is nurturing yet challenging. In a brilliant manner the faculty seems to be overqualified in both professional and life guidance skills. This tells me they are passionate about the classical program and the institution delivering it. The wholesome environment promotes wholesome relationships on every level; something seemingly lost in schools that don't offer students a sense of being balanced in a complex world. Unlike many well-branded schools shrouded in shades of country club pedigree The Geneva School is not about a Who's Who list of parents. Yet quietly and modestly many impressive pillars of the community comprise the Geneva family. It is this "less ego" and "more ergo" that makes this institution both refreshing and a confident choice for my children's developmental path.

Love that the High School has many male teachers. High school teachers are very qualified in their subjects. Teachers love and pray for their students. The children are encouraged to strive to do their best. The children are taught to take a biblical stand in the community.

My girls (9th and 11th grades) have been at Geneva since kindergarten and I can honestly say it has been the biggest blessing in our family's life. My wife would agree. Our children are getting Orlando's best education (as a result of the classical approach) but even more importantly they are developing their own personal faith. The combination will allow them to boldly enter college and the marketplace with confidence and courage. I am obviously biased but name another school that can do that and what greater gift can we give.

We have had our four children at The Geneva School for 5 years now and one has graduated (with highest honors) from the school. We love the combination of excellent challenging instruction inside and outside of class with godly mentoring from the faculty in both the Arts and Sciences. Our school is a family. And together we are committed to pursuing Christian and classical education to its fullest extent!

The 2011-2012 will be our 10th year at The Geneva School. This past year was a difficult one financially for our family but in cutting expenses my husband expressed that tuition here is an investment in our children; & we simply aren't willing to sacrifice their education. Geneva provides a culture of excellence in academics and character. It is safe for each student to be who they are with their peers and their teachers. Simply put it has been the best place for our children to grow into all God wants them to be.
