Many improvements are the result of the new Principal working on practical changes to the way things are done at Greywolf. The school has a better overall atmosphere. Sequim schools have an after school program called Opportunity to Excell two days per week encouraging kids to stay after to do extra practice on math reading and whatever areas the teacher sees necessary. There is a new traffic flow making it much more welcoming for parents to walk into the school with kids if desired. The PTA is strong with great cooperation on bringing technology to the classroom. Greywolf is looking great!

We recently moved into the community with three elementary-aged children. Our transition into the community and school have been remarkable. We visited the school the second day we arrived in the summer. The school counselor was just in picking some things up and spent about 30 minutes showing our family around the school. The new principal is fabulous and easily approachable taking time to welcome the kids at drop off each morning. We couldn't be happier with each of the teachers our children have as well.

I give Greywolf a 5 out of 5 stars. My perspective is a little different than others because I am a parent and a teacher at this school. I have worked at Greywolf for ten years. As I read through the responses I had a strong feeling that many of the negative responses were due to a self-centered view point. Sometimes parents get so focused on their child that they lose a sense of the big picture. I have seen countless times that the custodian specialists office staff teachers and principal make every effort to facilitate a wonderful education for all 500+ students at Greywolf. Parents often want to blame the school instead of working together with the staff to come up with a plan. Parents at times seem to attack the school instead of realizing that their child's behavior impacts not only their child but the entire class and school.

This was a new school to my 3rd and 4th graders this year. I think Sequim is a beautiful area to raise children however the principle is very rude and manipulative. I think she is unethical and treats children like they are in the military. She acts very nice infront of other staff but if she gets you alone she shows how truly unprofessional and uncaring she is of both students and parents.

This is an amazing school. The leadership is positive fair and caring. The staff work as a team and are focused on student learning. From the lunch lady to the Principal they are friendly and care about kids.

Greywolf is a wonderful school. My two kids went to school in Port Angeles last year and the years before and this is the first time that a teacher has connected with my son. I have not dealt with the principal and I have to say she is different every time I see her. One day she looks angry and other times she is smiling. Oh well she is human too. My kids like her.

I loved the school for my daughter. The teachers were great. The principle not so great.

Greywolf has a great team of educators that works with every child their abilities and more. Greywolf is a school that helped me to decide to move out of the big city and into a community on the olympic peninsula.

My son attends this school. Though it is too late in the year to try to enroll him into another school I have had ample opportunity to view the performance of the staff at this school and I have found them consistently unprofessional untruthful and unethical particularly the principal of the school who seems to find her military background appropriate for this environment which is supposed to be nurturing.

This school has very low dicipline that is not tolerable at all. Also the children here are very rude and wild. Greywolf definately needs to make some changes before I send my child back.
