Lacking in educational standards by any standard. Consistently taking students out of classes such as science to sing songs in the gym. One fifth grade teacher blows a coaches whistle into the students' ears for punishment and throws books out the window. Verbally berating students in front of an entire class of students and other teachers is completely accepted by the principle and the priest. Paying or this is nuts. At least you have an effective means of protecting your child from abusive teachers in the public schools.

I love St. Ambrose Catholic School and so do my 3 children who attend there. The teachers are very caring towards the children but yet they are also very disciplined within the classroom. The Catholic aspect allows for not only great teaching but the added opportunity to teach in a Christian atmosphere where God is centered in our lives. Having the ability to go the Church during the week also allows for a great sense of community/ or family among our students. St. Ambrose is a great place to be!
