With so many charter and private school options in the area we put a lot of thought into what would be the best option for our children. After weighing a plethora of pros and cons we decided to choose our neighborhood school (Sun Path) and we couldn't be happier with our choice! Our daughter is into her second year and continues to be excited to learn and share about the new knowledge she has gained every day. The principal and media center specialist organize school wide events that are engaging and informative. The teachers present as having a genuine interest in every student work to challenge students based on their abilities and maintain an open line of communication with parents. In addition we have found many parents and families who are actively engaged in various school wide initiatives volunteering opportunities and activities. One final positive is that the school maintains a vibrant art active gym and comprehensive music curriculum that unfortunately has begun to disappear in other schools and districts.

The worst school experience EVER! My 7 year old child was so unhappy there. The curriculum is substandard. The teacher let them choose their own spelling words. Imagine a second grader still spelling beginning sight words( ex I am the) The curriculum is below state standards and so is the test results. Check them out for yourselves. Please don't bring child to that school unless you want to be disappointed.

Sun Path is a great school. My children attend Sun Path and we could not be any happier with their progress. Their teachers are wonderful every year and the entire staff/principal are easy to talk to and make school a fun place to be!
