Our children loves the teachers they have in both the classroom and for specials. The PTA also adds a lot to the overall experience.

My child has been attending Marzolf for since 2009 and really enjoys the school and teachers. I believe the leadership work well with teachers and parents to develop a sustained environment for all kids. Good work!

My child currently attends Marzolf School. My husband and I are shocked by the lack of experience and the inflexibility from the staff and the administration. I suppose if you never have a differing view from the teachers or the principal at Marzolf regarding student services or your childs needs then you could probably love the place. But if you disagree with them on ANY issue regarding your child you instantly become persona non grata. It's actually been kind of a creepy experience. I wouldn't recomend this school or this district to anyone. We will be looking forward to relocating to a district with teachers that can think critically. Good bye Marzolf and good riddance!

My son attends this school and I have found it to be a wonderful place for a child to be. the teachers have en helpful and informative whenever I have has a question or any other issue. Every day you see Mr. Marty (the principle) walking the halls or standing on the sidewalk when the bell rings for dismissal. The extra fun stuff such as parties movie night and the teacher talent show prove just how involved the staff is in my child's education not just in the classroom but at every school function. Overall a terrific school.

I currently have a daughter in Marzolf and a Grandson in another Shaler school Burchfield. I am very pleased with how the Marzolf teachers are engaging my daughter and making sure that any problem areas are addressed and attended to. The principal is great and is always available. Burchfield however is another story. The teachers are great however they seem to be limited by the schools administration as to how they can properly help a child with special learning needs. I am very displeased with Burchfield and hope that they will strive to improve upon assisting children with special needs and stop failing to educate them properly. Marzolf is a far better Shaler primary school.

The care they took with my child's individual needs were outstanding. This is a great start to the future of their education.

My children currently attend Marzolf. The principal is always around the entire staff is extremely active with the children. The parents are asked to help aid the teachers whenever they can. We have an open invitation to stop in whenever we want. (as long as we sign in at the office.) The PTO offers many extra-curricular activities for our children. I am well informed of my children's curriculum. I can easily email the teachers with questions whenever I want. My children are happy and eager to learn what is presented to them. I however attended private schooling and wasn't provided with half of the education my children have available to them at Marzolf. I highly recommend Marzolf School without hesitation.

Although now out of school both of my children attended Marzolf. The school was a joke. The principals yes there were many stayed locked up in their offices. The teachers were inexperienced or burnt out. If the children were having problems learning it was always the childs or parents fault. Parents were treated as the enemy. Only allowed to attend the school with their child a few times a year. At the halloween party the parents can only see their children from the street. The curriculum and technologies were minimal at best. All though they will say different. Marzolf moto should be 'do as I say not as I do because we don't do much.' I am glad my children are out of Shaler. Maybe if they would spend more money on education instead of sports and adminstrators they would have a great school. Of course this is only my opinion.

I feel Marzolf Elementary is a fantastic school to send your children to. The teachers are warm and friendly the children are very accepting of all disabilities and the custodians love the children. The Marzolf Staff is truly a team whether they are a teacher custodian cafeteria worker or aide. That is the kind of school I want to send my child to.

This school is downright so ridiculously bad it's beyond words. I can't believe they didn't shut this place down years ago. The Lunches are unhealthy for kids and disgusting. (Previous Lunches have included 'Animal Nuggets' and 'Mystery Sandwiches') This school's technology is weak because they still use old macintosh Computers. Marzolf is also unsanitary and has a very small janitorial crew. The Principal always avoids problems. Don't send your kid to this embarrassing 'School'.
