this school has really great teachers. there are a lot of great things about the school but alot of bad things. a lot of kids are focused only on social life and drugs/sex is going around alot.

I have never been to such a horrible school in my life. No matter how hard I tried and how long i persisted with the teachers they were always lazy and really didn't care about the students.

I don't know why people hate this school. This school is the best middle school ever!!!! they have an 'ABC DANCE' only for students who get AB AND C's it is sooooooo much fun I've been on the list twice already (1'st and 2nd quarter) i love this school!

My son just completed three years at White Oak and his experience was excellent. He had wonderful teachers and challenging classes. The school has a new principal starting in '07. She is truly committed to maintaining a culture of learning and respect that includes the direct engagement with parents and students. Very impressive!

bathrooms are terrible but the GT teachers are amazing

More often than not I had to remind the instructors about work that had not been graded or that my child was not given credit for work that had been completed. The instructors do not appear to have full control of the students as they were disruptive during class and the teachers' behavior was just as unacceptable. My child felt out of place. My child is an honor roll student. My child was almost given a failing grade because he failed to administer a study properly. This was later acknowledged by the head of that dept. Parents - please think long and hard before enrolling your child in this school.

I embark this school and theres a lot of drama it's a good school and great teachers and the security guards do their jobs I like the school very much.

This school needs new leadership. Talented teachers have left the school in recent years. Special ed services here however remain superior. Also the school's security staff genuinely care for the children there and treat them as their own.
