This school is excellent about working with children with any type of special needs. My daughter is Asbergers and I found the learning support and teacher assistants did an incredible job in working with and helping my daughter be successful! Most of the teachers were open to my concerns and made my daughter feel valued. There is much to be said for a school that pays attention to the challenges and needs of your children and takes the time for meetings and update of IEP's. After moving to a new school district this summer I have only begun to realize the worth of a school with trained knowledgeable involved staff. We really miss Penn Central! This is a great school!!!

I was at this school for both seventh and eighth grade during the redistricting. Now I am in the high school and want to come back to Penn Central. The principals care about the students the staff try their best to help the student get back up on their feet if they're struggling and they have so much to offer. This school was by far my favorite. They might not have air conditioning but I'd take this school with no air conditioning than the highschool anyday simply because it seems like the principal at the highschool does not care at all about any of the students but the seniors.

I like all my teachers and pretty much all my peers and I love it. Ever since I switched schools I've learned so much more here at my school Pennridge Central Middle School.

I am an 8th grade student at Penn Central and I love it here. Sure we don't have air conditioning and some of the teachers I wish would dissapear. But hey it's like that in most schools. Out of all of the schools I have ever been to this is by far my favorite. Most teachers are amazing and we have so much fun which is a very important part of school.

i'm a former student of central and i find myself missing it now that i am at the highschool. central had some flaws but it's overall been the best school i've attended. the teachers were very good i learned a lot and more important i actually was able to have fun in school.

I can't believe someone would complain about this school because there is no air-conditioning. So what? I bet 90% of schools in this country have no air-conditioning. This is a fantastic school with a wonderful caring staff of teachers and administrators (most of them). The principal is articulate smart and compassionate. There are numerous clubs available and as many sports as the number of fields and facilities can accommodate. I don't believe there is a lot of parent involvement as it should be we are burnt out from over-involvement in elementary school. You will miss this school and its teachers when you get to the high school.

I am a student at Pennridge Central Middle School in 8th grade. I am a little disapointed in the fact that we do not have air conditioning in a school filled with well over 500 kids. I also believe that we need more time for lunch we only get 30-45 minutes.
