Kentucky Core Content Tests (KCCT)

In 2010-2011 Kentucky used the Kentucky Core Content Tests (KCCT) to assess students in grades 3 through 8 and 10 through 12 in reading, social studies, science, writing, and math. The Elementary School results displayed on GreatSchools profiles are for grades 3 through 5 combined for each subject. Middle School results are for grades 6 though 8 combined, and High School results are for grades 10 though 12 combined. The KCCT is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Kentucky. The goal is for all students to score at or above proficient on the test.

Simpsonville Elementary school is a great place for children with my 3rd child attending this fall I have nothing but praise for the staff and teaching standards. After school programs are excellent and while I am the local Cub Scout leader I have many boys attending this school and all are excelling and enjoying learning

The teachers really get to know the kids even the teachers from different grades. No complaints from me

I love Simpsonville! I hate that my kids had to go to another school because of our recent move but this is the best school ever! They are great with the kids and want the best for their students success! We love Simpsonville!

This school is based upon a community concept. All students are important and receive the individualized attention that they need. Teachers and staff are caring and helpful. Many opportunities for volunteers exist.

I think that Simpsonville has a great teacher parent communication and that' very important to me. The parents and teachers must work together that's what makes our kids learn.
