My son attended this school last year and we were very happy there. The teachers and staff were great. The principle exceptional...she knew just about EVERY ONE of the childrens names. But everyone kept boasting about Bells Crossing Elem. & how great that shcool is & how they won a state award.blah blah blah. So when we had a chance to move we located onthe other side of Simpsonville just for our son to go there. WORST MISTAKE OF HIS EDUCATIONAL LIFE!!! They STINK. He has a horrible teacher that practically bullies him EVERY DAY! He went from being a staight A & B student to getting C's. He practically cries everyday before school & now has anxiety. Yeah in 4th grade-Anxiety. I would move mountains to bring him back to Plain Elementary. I am in the process of going to the school board & superintendent. This school (Bell's Crossing Elem) has single handedly ruined my childs educational future. He now HATES school & I am holding them 100% accountable. YOU WILL LOVE PLAIN ELEMENTARY!!!!

Plain Elementary is a wonderful school. Over 900 students attend there. Teachers care about their students and their sucsess. If Plain was given a seven why is there so many people whocontibute their time to keep the legacy of the school strong and at its best? A lot of volenteers come to Plain every single week! there are plenty of other things that they could be doing with teir time. I think that the rating was completly unfair and should be higher!!!

I am very satisfied with Plain Elementary. We moved to the area from a different state with outstanding schools so I was a little nervous starting out. I have been extremely happy with both my childrens teachers each year and I see the school moving forward in a very positive manner. The only reason that I am only giving the school 4 stars and not 5 is that at times I feel the school is too strict. I understand that with almost 1000 children you have to have order but there are so little opportunities to socialize as it is (lunch recess before and after school riding the bus) that when there is down time it should be allowed. After all they are just kids.

We have been at Plain Elementary for 4 years now and have enjoyed all of it's opportunities. This school believes that all children should live up to their fullest potential. It offers a lot of extracurricular activities from chess dance clay art chorus etc.. The principal cares deeply for all of these children as do most of the teachers. She is very approachable. Also there have been times of sad illness with a few students and this school gets together with the entire community to help in anyway that it can. Great school spirit!
