The negative review left by a 'parent' from 2004 is outdated and therefore obsolete. This school has seen major improvements including the hiring of a new principal/superintendent 2nd/3rd grade teacher special education teacher and PE teacher. With the newly hired personnel this school is moving in a positive direction!

You would think because there is a high teacher to student ratio that this might be like sending your child to private school with no additional expense. Do not be fooled; I was. This is the worst school district that I have ever encountered. The only saving grace that Skykomish school has ever had is a teacher Ann Walker. If you have a child in K 1 or 2 grade; they will be o.k. Otherwise; send them to a different school.
