Kentucky Core Content Tests (KCCT)

In 2010-2011 Kentucky used the Kentucky Core Content Tests (KCCT) to assess students in grades 3 through 8 and 10 through 12 in reading, social studies, science, writing, and math. The Elementary School results displayed on GreatSchools profiles are for grades 3 through 5 combined for each subject. Middle School results are for grades 6 though 8 combined, and High School results are for grades 10 though 12 combined. The KCCT is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Kentucky. The goal is for all students to score at or above proficient on the test.

My daughter has gone to SEE since kindergarten and now my son is beginning in preschool. South Edmonson is a wonderful school. The teachers are great all around a great school and atmosphere.

All three of my daughters have went to Edmonson County Schools since kindergarten and preschool. For the most part some of the teachers are outstanding but there are a few that need some improvements or just plain need to retire. Mrs. Jeannie Basil Mrs. Kathy Sasse Mrs. Becky Saltzman Mrs. Carol Stice Mr. Greg Tyree at South Edmonson are outstanding. I have not gotten to know some of the other teachers as well. All three of my daughters love these teachers to death and think the world of them. If you have a special needs child you couldn't ask for better involvement with their education. If it had not been for the caring of these teachers I would not have found out my youngest has ADHD. Thanks to Mrs. Tyra and the other special education teachers for helping out and making a huge difference in my child.

My children have been in Edmonson County schools for the last 8 years and I wouldn't send them anywhere else. I believe the teachers at SEES are some of the best in the state and they truly care about their students. Thank you
