Delaware Student Testing Program (DSTP)

In 2008-2009 Delaware used the Delaware Student Testing Program (DSTP) to test students in reading and math in grades 2 through 10, in writing in grades 3 through 10, and in science and social studies in grades 4, 6, 8 and 11. Only the scores for reading and math in grades 2 through 10, writing in grades 3 though 10, and science in grades 8 and 11 are displayed on GreatSchools profiles. The DSTP is a standards-based test, which means it measures specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Delaware. The goal is for all students to score at or above the state standard.

Sunnyside is a wonderful school. They help give our children values and character in our children. The teachers and staff are wonderful.

This school IS warm professional and exceeds all expectations academically. They have a very active character building and anti- bullying campaign. People are voting with their very presence the school has grown from 300 students to nearly 600 in just 5 years. Expect a rigorous common core curriculum serving a very diverse student population. My children have made great friends and are eager to learn.

The teachers are very unprofessional. Especially the younger ones. God forbid if you want to be involved with your children. They will ignore you and give you the cold shoulder. Can't wait to sell my house and get out of this school.

This school is horrible. I am so glad my child won't be going there next year. My childs self esteem has reduced considerably since going to this school. They dread going on a daily basis because the teacher shows blatant favoritisim toward certain students and they have a double standard when it comes to school rules. If your part of their click you can do what ever you want and nothing is said. If you are not in the click then they point out every rule possible to you like you're stupid.

I have 2 children in this school. Everyone from the teachers to the administration to the janitors are wonderful.
