Illinois Standards Achievement Test (ISAT)

In 2011-2012 Illinois used the Illinois Standards Achievement Test (ISAT) to test students in grades 3 through 8 in reading and math, and in grades 4 and 7 in science. The ISAT is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Illinois. The goal is for all students to score at or above the state standard.

My child and I was very please with this school. He wanted to sleep there over night the first day his teacher has such a great inpact on him. His grades were up and his welliness to learn was great. I wish they had 4th - 8th grade hate to go to another school.

I have been pleasantly surprised with Eisenhower. My child had been in private school and I switched him over because of the lack of enthusiasm for teaching and its application for real life. The teachers at Eisenhower are creative energetic and challenge their students. Students have daily responsibilities to encourage learning. Eisenhower has a 'Saturday School' for a short period during the school year to help students with test taking skills. All activities are rewarded with positive reinforcement either from the teachers or the principal. We have complete access to our child's grade on the internet throughtout the school year. Parents are encouraged to participate in any way.
