My daughter is just starting out in the toddler programs and so far I love this school. My favorite things about this school MMS is constantly pushing themselves to stay relevant in the worlds of science and technology and I find that to be very impressive. The teachers are always friendly and willing to do anything to help make my daughter's day better and are always doing something special for her. Every morning staff is there to greet students as they walk in- sometimes the principle too. The staff knows all of the kids names and I love that. They put safety as a top priority- I don't worry about my child once she's through the front door as I feel they have taken great measures to ensure that she's out of harms way. The building is clean bright and well organized. The play area is stunning and summertime activities are the best of any summer program that I've ever seen or heard of. I'm looking forward to many years with my daughter at this school. My only tiny issue is that the location can be frustrating to get to with the current construction happening all around it but I'd drive to the ends of the earth to give my daughter the best educations so I just deal with it.

My child has special needs and this school is terrible for special needs children. The teachers dont take time with the students and alot of kids there are just not controlled and have bad attitudes. My child will not be attending again next year.
As with anything in life you get out of it what you put in. I attended SMMS and found it to be full of very good teachers who loved their job. There are many extra curriculars and co-curiculars available both in academics and sports. Parents need to be there to push there children to particpate in activities. It is too easy for blame someone else. Look around talk explore. Middle School is a time of discovery and even with the requirements of NCLB the school offers a large selection of exploratory classes and extra curriculars. Join up and become active.
My child hates this school and there are too many problems with other students.
My child started to go to this school last year and I don't like it at all. The teachers she's had were terrible and the guidance counsler was snotty. Also the staff is not very understanding in the needs of a child that has A.D.H.D. Of course I dread sending her back to this school but there is no other school for her to go to.
Anyone associated with this school should be ashamed. The teachers do not teach. The system sets children up to fail. They have no resources for parents. No progress reports to inform you of potential problems. Terrible.
