My daughter attends this school and I am overjoyed to have her in this wonderful program. This school is like a warm family. The staff and principal leadership is loving and supportive. The teachers are dedicated and creative and make the learning process fun and very effective. My daughter is only four years old and is already reading! They also offer incredible enrichment programs such as music dance and physical education. Our daughter is thriving in this environment. I encourage all parents to come see for yourself! This is a great school and there are few out there like this one in the entire Bay Area!

Mills Montessoi School is an amazing educational institution. I have two daughter's both of which started Mills at two years old and have gone through the elementary program. My oldest daughter now in middle school is an exceptional student receiving straight A's in all of her classes. She is easily two years ahead of her peers and find's her school work "easy". My younger daughter is currently in the elementary program and is thriving. She has established many close relationships with her classmates and trule enjoys coming to school. The elementary program bases their curriculum on each individual child moving at their own pace. I believe this fosters confidence and motivation within a child giving them the tools they need to be successful throughout their life. This school rarely has any openings as I've had many friends who have tried to transfer their children. If you find the opportunity to enroll your child do so because it will be the best educational decision you could make for you child's future.

Wow! What an awesome school! My son just started in September and I have never felt such care and concern from teachers. The Fallahs have truly created an exceptional learing enviorment for the children. Mills Montessori is a school like no other. This school is producing our future Doctors Dentists and Lawyers hence the fact that both of their children are now doctors and attended Mills as well. This must show for something right? Whatever the Fallahs are doing they are helping form intelligent well rounded students. Exceptional school.

The Kindergarten class was exceptional. superb teacher with over 15 years experience. Grades 1 - 5 section is mediocre. Students are working very individually on their projects. Teamwork and collaboration are non-existent. This could be because Grades 1 - 5 are all placed in a single class and there's not enough students per grade level for any kind of healthy interactions amongst the students. This fosters a very poor social environment where my child had absolutely no friends being the only one at that grade level.

Pros The teachers the teachers the teachers! My child attended Mills for 3 wonderful and had 2 of the most outstanding teachers I've ever known. Cons The administration. The school is run by a husband and wife team along with their adult daughter. Discussions conversations or concerns regarding your child are not tolerated at all if counter to their views. Be warned - there is almost zero openness to problem solving. As a result we left the school. But we left with heavy hearts because the teachers are truly wonderful.

I recently enrolled me child into Mills Montessori and was extremely happy with the fast transition my son made. The teachers in the pre-school 1 classrooms are so loving and nurturing not to mention helpful. After having only been enrolled in the school for 3 months now he can easily recognize the whole alphabet numbers 1-10 and all his shapes (including a trapazoid!). This school has went beyond my expextations.

My son is 4 1/2 and just moved from pre-2 to kindergarten. He's only been in kindergarten for 3 weeks and can already read three letter words. We all love his school and all the staffs! We can't wait for our younger son to attend Mills in the future.

My son started pre-school this year he is 2.5 years old. Ms. Simin Fallah the director of the school is just WONDERFUL. Actually a year and a half ago when I took a tour picked up an application at that time I knew this was the school for my son. You see during the tour Ms. Fallah let my son be himself and was allowed to explore while class was in session. I on the otherhand was worried that he was disturbing the class. Ms. Fallah let him be a kid and told me not to worry - that is what kids do they are curious. You see when the Director of the school genuinely cares about the children and ALLOWS children to be themselves which I was there to witness - (to be continued) R. Lee

As a sales rep who travels daily throughout the SF Bay Area I've had the opportunity to visit literally dozens of schools throughout the Peninsula and the City. Mills Montessori ranks second to none when it comes to delivering highest quality of education while providing my daughter a home away from home. I recommend visiting this school first hand to see what I mean. I spent nearly nine months actively researching preschools and knew my search was over when I walked in the front door at Mills.

My twins attended Mills Montessori from preschool (age 3) through 3rd grade. They received a SUPERIOR education completely self-paced and developed learning skills at a young age which has done them well when transitioning into public school. If you value early childhood education and want to give your child a solid foundation for learning this is the place.

Mills Montessori School provides a safe warm pleasant environment for all of its students. I am extremely impressed with the level of communication between the teachers and the parents. I have two children that attend this school that are extremely happy. Me and my husband searched many schools before choosing Mills. It was the best decision we've made. The level of discipline organization and kindness from the school were the main factors that played a role in our decision. Not to mention their educational and extra curricular programs are very advanced and extremely impressive. Also you feel that the school truly cares about its students. The new campus is a beautiful facility that offers a spacious clean and modern learning environment. I urge all parents to visit Mills Montessori before considering any other school.

Mills Montessori is an exceptional school. Compared to any public school Mills Montessori is by far superior in every category. Children learn at their own pace with the curriculum designed around their strengths and weaknesses. Each child gets individualized attention and the teacher is able to assess each child personally. Their pre-school is also by far the best in the area. If you are lucky enough to have the opportunity to place your child at Mills Montessori then you should. It will be the best decision you could ever make for your child's education and developmental growth.

As a child psychiatrist with two children I have combed the preschools in the surrounding areas with a critical eye. I can say without reservation that the quality and care provided by Mills Montessori has been outstanding. My wife and I have been thrilled with this school and my children who have been attending Mills for the past two years have thrived. Both as a professional who works with children and as a parent I highly recommend Mills Montessori.

I regret having enrolled my child here. Of course there are a couple of exceptional people on the teaching staff. Overall not a nurturing environment for your preschooler

Beautiful school and the classrooms are amazing. The daily structure is fun and educational. Also another plus is the low student-teacher ratio. Great school! My child will attend in September.

Mills is a great school and continues to get better by the day. The teachers are full of energy are extremely well trained and experienced. Most know more than I do as a mother of a four year old. I would have no hesitation recommending this school to anyone.

I would not recommend this school to anyone. There is a focus on academics but not security teacher interaction or communication. For what you pay for tuition you would expect more...

I am so glad that the school year is over and tranferring my son out of this school. I can't understand all the good reviews below. The school lacks of learning structure. It would be hard for any child to transition back into a regular school system. I would not recommend this school to anybody.

I would not recommend this school at all except for pre-school. I would look into other schools in the area.

The experience has not been positive. When compare to other schools the resources are limited. In early years one of the most important aspect of education is to teach good study habits and positive attitude towards learning. I think the program fails to achieve these goals
