My children attended this school before moving into Northridge School district. Snowhill's teaching staff were not talented educators nor were those I encountered interested in quality teaching. Their "social worker" thought my son's winter coat was not warm enough (it absolutely was) and stopped my daughter (also a student there at the time) and asked her if my family needed money for a new coat! I was extremely offended that this "professional" spoke with my child about such a topic and not me as the parent - and also because she assumed (wrongly) that I could not afford a different coat for my son. I cannot say that I adore any school in Springfield but Northridge is head and shoulders above Snowhill.

Very impressed so far. Every teacher seems to strive for success. No complaints from me. I looked forward to my son coming home everyday with something new he has learned.

We are new to this school and so far are very pleased with the enthusiasm and involvement in this school.

I am extremely pleased with Snowhill. The teachers are involved and their mission is to make sure the parents are as well. I appreciate the way they are always striving to do better and encourage the children to do the same. They focus on having a positive attitude and I commend the parents for their involvement. We can't put the responsibility of teaching our children all on our teachers and the parents keep it in mind. Mrs. Lane and the staff all work very hard.

Snowhill needs to show genuine love and concern for their students and not worry so about 'numbers'.

The principal actually told me to quit teaching my child academics at home!

Snowhill is an excellent school. My daughter graduated last year and my son just fingished grade K. Great staff and environment and most importantly test scores and academics.

I have 2 children who go to Snowhill (1 graduated this yr the other is going into 5th grade) and I must say it is an awesome school! The teachers are great and Mrs. Lane does her absolute best! Every faculty member gives 110 percent to the students! I sure wish it went to the 8th grade. I hate the thought of my daughter going anywhere else!

The parental involvement is excellent and I have had 3 children go through Snowhill and I have not had one thing to complain about on the whole experience. I would not hesitate to recommend Snowhill to any parent
