The Montessori program has worked well for my child. She really enjoys attending each day. In addition it is a great multicultural environment. We really enjoy being a part of this wonderful school.

My child has enjoyed her time at this school a great deal. It is far superior to the average day care in many respects. Most teachers have worked in the school for long periods of time. This is both good and bad good in the sense that there is not high turnover and teachers have a lot of experience but bad in the sense that the curriculum seems a bit dated and there does not seem to be much energy put into keeping up with new educational developments and trends. The playground is rather small and the technology and library in the school could be expanded. The teachers are very loving and kind but a bit unwelcoming of feedback or criticism even when it is mild. There does not seem to be a regularly present and active director in the school so a unified vision seems to be lacking. Very good care but improvements could be made in a number of key areas.

Wow this is such a nice school! Beautifully diverse the environment is enriching the teachers that my son has had have been nurturing and great for his development. He has learned so much it still amazes me. I am so glad we decided to come to SCMS over daycare.

i understand some of the parents to take out anger because they were not happy with this school for whatever reason. But this is the best school and best choice i have ever made with my kids. I have 2 in preprimary. this is their second year and the staff graciously opens their arms to any and every child. my son has been having some learning issues and that just made the staff reach out even more. It saddens me to see parents lash out. Especially at the people that enrich our children. i give this school 6 stars!!!

We're really happy with the teachers here. My 1st grader's reading and math have greatly improved. When the kids get picked up they're eager to share what they worked on which shows they enjoy school while learning. As I'm not very impressed by the management (cost cutting issues) my kids really look forward to going to school daily.

Nice teachers great learning environment. My child loves it here. He has learned so many things at parties I am amazed how much more he knows than my friends children. A+ education

My child was previously enrolled in another Montessori school. This school is about 20 minutes away but worth the drive for us. The academics are very strong and we were referred to this school from several friends who's children graduated from there. Academics are very important for my husband and I.

My child really enjoys it there and she seems to be learning very well. Teaching is individualized using their Montessori techniques. I am a now a believer in the Montessori method.

I would not recommend this school to anyone. The teaching is not individualized as advertised. I felt the time spent in pre-primary was wasted. There are better true montessori schools available.

My children attend pre-primary year-2 and transition. I wouldn't recommend this school to others. -Activities and planning are to the convenience of the school(to save money/space) not the interest of the students. You can see children wasting time to transfer from room to room everyday. - When I was a volunteer I see teachers in the hallway or busy writing something not teaching. The TA are great! They're working and cheerful. -My daughter wants to work more. They won't let her because she's not a kindergartner(same class). They hold her back. Not good for curious/fast-learning child. -Cost is average so you pay for what you get.

My daughter just completed kindergarten. I cannot say enough good things about the instruction she's received! While organization and parent communication isn't a strong point for SCMS the teachers and the program have benefitted my child immensely. Plus she loves it there and that's a huge bonus.

Quality of academic programs is outstanding with good individual emphasis on each child. One of only a few accredited Montessori schools in Greater Houston with trained and certified teachers that uphold high standards.
