Mattie Lively is an exceptional elementary school. The school staff are professional yet warm and welcoming. The admin are open to parents they listen to parental concerns quickly take action to ensure needs are met like safety social interactions education needs physical and emotional needs. The school counselor is awesome at helping the students cope with the pressures of growing up and navigating school. The teachers are first class! They don't just give info to the kids they interact with the children drawing their interest and getting the children excited about learning. The school has top of the line electronics and a new building with strong safety systems built into it. The staff are very safety aware and are great at following protocols. There is a strong art music 4H gifted education and physical ed program. The school benefits from strong community support with many children's recreational programs who offer after school activities including school transportation. I feel my children are in good hands and they have excelled in school largely due to Mattie Lively Staff.

Mattie Lively is a great school. Teachers encourage parent involvement and administration is very aware and involved in each child's education.

Although there are a handful of good people at Mattie overall the quality of the school is not good. Teachers are burnt out. Administration is only interested in how the school appears not how the children or parents feel. Parents are excluded from being involved except when the school wants to raise money. Volunteering is by invitation only. Making the children feel that it is their school would go a long way.

Mattie Lively is a great school with excellent faculty. The teachers and administration really care about each child and do everything they can to accommodate each child's learning level.
