My child also attends this school. The staff is very unfriendly. They do not communicate with the parents and the assistance principle is horrible. She talks down to parents and lacks integrity and morals. She will make you feel stressed about about your children attending this school. I really wish parents would stand up against this school. It's the staff that is bullying these children and the parents. I spoke to the principle and she twisted everything I was saying and was all about the teacher. My kids would do better educating themselves.

I was very surprised of this school for it to be fairly new I do not like this school . they need better trained teachers for these younger kids that just starting out.. ie like learning to read etc. My daughter could not read and she had attended this school from k-2. I never recall her even learning phonics some children come in already reading and some do not. I've notice that these teachers here focus on the more advanced children and rely on them just to make their jobs easier. And the children that needs to catch up all they holler is retainment leave them back instead of helping them in the first place. I mean don't get me wrong my daughter has received EIP and all that (2 years) but it hasn't help much. And I did all I can as a parent to help her and all this school did just made it seem like that it was all my doing. well I'm now she's doing alot better it all came with maturity like I tried to tell them but figure I was wrong because I was just a parent and they were right because they were teachers.....Horrible.

I was very excited for my young niece to move to the state of Georgia that I have fallen in love with. However this 6 year old child has had numerous occassions where her teacher allowed bullying was indifferent to her needs and refused to work with my niece and her mother. I understand that teachers are busy and have things to do but in the school my children attend (also in GA) issues are addressed immediately and my children feel very loved by staff. This school is also trying to enforce ridiculous hoops to jump through just to advocate for a child. I am 100% disappointed in Mt. Zion Primary for showing new comers an awful side. I encouraged my family to move here and if I would have thought they'd be treated so horribly I would have not encouraged them to come to this state that I have come to love. Principals teachers and secretaries care at other GA schools...this one needs to look at the other schools to see how to show love and encourage parent involvment!

We moved to this school later in the year. We hate it I'm not sure if it's just the teacher or what but it's horrible! The teacher promised to speak to my daughter to make sure she understands what is expected of her she never did. I've tried to have a conference with her teacher she refuses to contact me. Overall we can't stand this school. You plan in sending your kids there good luck!

My youngest son started going here when it first opened. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience he had while attending. My daughter started Primary soon as her brother transitioned to Elementary. The principal is AWESOME. Always reachable. She even attends the kids recreational sports events. My daughter's teacher is GREAT. We were given the option for her to have the same teacher twice as the teacher changed grades with the children. My family one 8th grader one 5thgrader and one 2nd grader have enjoyed both Primary and Elementary

I don't think the teachers or principal care about the students at this school .I have to children that go to this school an currently looking to move because of not wanting my children to be back in this school next year. They just don't care!!

My son has been at this school for two years. He attended Kindergarten and First grade. He was in EIP for reading in Kindergarten and I was happy that he received the extra help he needed. Once he started First grade I noticed about the second month of school that he needed EIP again. I met with both principals and teacher and they all declined. Now on the 100th day of school his teacher now tells me he needs EIP after sending home an all E S report card a week ago. Talk about contradicting. I tried to explain this to them much earlier. I know my child we struggle with homework everyday. I really feel that the teacher did not take the time to see what my child needed.
