My daughter was supposed to go to west elementary school. I heard they are a great school as well. When we signed her up we found that they were booked for her grade. So they had to place her in South East. I can honestly say I am much happier with her going to S.E. Her teacher did everything she could to make her feel welcome on the firs day of school. I had to drop off a towel for her one day and the ladies behind the desk remembered me and I didn't have to tell them which class she was in. The principle is so nice every time i see him he always give you a genuine and caring greeting. The homework they sent out was easy for my daughter to understand and she feels comfortable now.

We transferred to South East after going to a private school. My son loves it and I am very impressed. I was a little concerned about the transition and academics. My son continues to excel in his studies. Alos What stands out to my son is that his prinicpal knows his name and says 'Good Morning ' to him every day.

I love southeast! The teachers are phenomenally caring and genuinely invested in the children. The new principal is also wonderful. I couldn't be happier!

All of the schools in Sycamore are united in teaching character and leadership skills to our children. My daughters' school has an assembly once a month for each value. The principal spends time in each classroom discussing the value for the month. They use songs cheers and school bulletin boards created by the students. In addition to teaching values like integrity teamwork and fairness Sycamore elementary schools have the best math program in the area. As a math teacher I am proud of the textbook series my daughters use. The main things you will notice when you walk into Southeast are the school spirit each child is known by name and bright creativity everywhere.
