My daughter has been going to this school since first grade she is now a third grader and I could not be more happy with the teachers and the staff. They are absolutely amazing. To see this school with such a low rating is saddening. This school is not getting the credit it deserves.

THIS SCHOOL IS WONDERFUL. WHN I ENROLLED MY 2 CHILDREN IMMEDIATELY THE PRINCIPAL AND OTHER FACULITY MEMBERS WENT OUT OF THERE WAY AND INTRODUCED THEMSELVES AND NOT TO MENTION THE TEACHERS R WANTING TO BE INVOLVED AND VERY HELPFUL WITH YOUR CHILDRENS ACHEIVEMENTS! NOW 2 YEARS LATER MY LAST CHILD WILL NOW BE ATTENDING KIMBELL THIS YEAR AND I COULDNT BE ANYER HAPPY!

My daughter has attended Kimbell since kindergarten. She absolutely loves it. I am very active with the school. I do not have any issues with the staff at all. They have been very helpful. The people complaining about lack of PTA & SAC meetings should try to get more involved in my opinion. I noticed that some of the school functions and meetings are short of parent volunteers. I think if the parents were more involved it would be easier for the staff to get things done. The complaints against the principal may be valid. I know her personally but only because I have went out of my way to meet her. The assistant principal is amazing! As well as the rest of the staff. The social worker and guidance counselor are great too. The all know EVERY SINGLE STUDENT by name. My daughter loves the school. Her teachers have all been very dedicated to help her and encourage her to do her best. I love them for that. They even go out of their way to help parents become better parents. The environment is always safe and secure. I feel comfortable leaving my daughter in the care of the adults because they honestly seem to care. I have and will continue to recommend this school to all.

The principle in my opinion is a large part of Kimbell's problem. She doesn't show up to school functions and can't answer simple questions. Sure she is a very sweet women but sweetness don't get the job done. My child attended Kimbell 2nd thru 5th grade. There was never a proper PTA very few school functions and the quality of communication was poor. Something needs to change quick!

I have had the worse 2 school years w/ this school in regards to my son who is "differently -abled". I think they do not have enough ESE support at this school. Most of the school's staff tries their best but there are still so many that would benefit in a personality course ESE courses from USF (to not rely so much on the ESE teachers) and understand that there are many parents that are educated and want to help their children. Not treat the parents who are willing /trying to be more involved like idiots or like parents that do not care. Majority of the parents in this area have horrible personalities and attitudes. I can't wait for the school year to be over to FINALLY get my son to a school who can better help him.
