Arizona's Instrument to Measure Standards (AIMS)

In 2011-2012 Arizona's Instrument to Measure Standards (AIMS) was used to test students in reading and mathematics in grades 3 through 8 and 10, writing in grades 5, 6, 7, and 10, and in science in grades 4, 8 and 10. AIMS is a standards-based test, which means that it measures how well students have mastered Arizona's learning standards. Students must pass the grade 10 AIMS in order to graduate. The goal is for all students to meet or exceed state standards on the test.

Horrible if you've been there for a few years. Teachers leave this place like flies. Regional makes the dumbest decisions for the school. Curriculum is low. They are running this school on a limb and can no longer keep my kids there.

I am sad I chose this school for my student. What a mistake! Her teacher is someone who doesn't even have a degree.

This is an awful school. The drama is never ending. I don't want a little girl to feel the way she does about going to school. My daughter is unhappy and her teacher is the worst. The staff has consistently turned over since we got here. Don't send your student here.

I really like this school and have to say my daughter really likes her teacher Mrs.Kelly she is the best teacher.

If you are a perspective teacher parent or student STAY AWAY!!!!! This school has inconsistent leadership bad wages for teachers and poor educational history. This school does not even have a curriculum. The school itself is in a shopping plaza next to a Goodwill. The security at this school is shotty at best there is a homeless refuge center near the school as well. So with this combination of the homeless center and the goodwill there a lot of sketchy individuals who pass through the school area.

I don't know what to say except think twice before sending your child to this school. Today my student called me crying from the office and told me that she was being bullied. This is not what I wanted for my child.

Imagine Tempe is a wonderful school that has great individualized education for each of their students. My student receives after school tutoring that has greatly helped him! His teacher Mr. Gruber has communicated well with me all year long! This positive review contest the principal has created excited me because it has given me the chance to express my appreciation to the school and to my son's teacher Mr. Gruber!

The school sent out a letter stating that the class that has the most positive reviews on Great Schools would get a free pizza party . So of course my son asked me to write a review. Unfortunately I cannot give the review that they are trying to get me to write for free pizza. I am very disappointed in the schools large class sizes small playground. Large teacher and student turn over. Lack of extra curricular activities and the school sits right next to a Goodwill. Not the review I was told I would have to write for free pizza but it is honest and factual and Imagine will not be our school of choice next year.

I am extremely happy to announce my son is a student of Imagine. The learning curriculum is awesome. My son comes home and surprises me with what he has learned daily. The teachers are fantastic and always there when needed. Special thanks to Ms. Shaw a wonderful first grade teacher.

My son has been at Imagine for about 4 years and I really like the school and staff . The teachers give their students the attention they need.

My children absolutely love attending Imagine Tempe. This school has definitely created an environment where my kids feel safe important and confident. The teachers especially Ms. Bennett and Ms. Kelly have been instrumental in my children's academic success.

I have children that have attended this school for 4 years now. You can't ask for a more caring staff than you get here. The teachers go above and beyond to communicate and keep you in the loop of your child's academic progress. They give you recommendations websites and activities you can do at home to help your child. The school environment is safe! Which is so hard to find. My child has never been bullied but my child told me of an incident that happened and how the teacher was proactive and handled it right away. The adminstration is visible and attainable which gives you a feelig that you can talk to them about anything. The only reason why I dont give them five stars is because of the size of the school and the small play area. But I will trade size for quality teachers anyday!

Imagine Tempe is the school that my son has attended for the last 3 years and while I am not particularly happy with the schools progress over this time I do want to point out that they do have some great teachers who really seem to care about their students. My son has been having a really diffuclt school year and his teacher has been informative helpful and always keeping me informed of his progress. She is approachable and readily available to discuss anything.

I absolutely love Imagine Tempe! Both my children have the most dedicated and outstanding individuals as teachers. The staff at this school has the best interest at heart for my children.

I really like how this school is so hands on and the teachers go above And beyond to make sure the students succeed academic wise I would recommend this school to anyone with children.

Imagine is a terrific school. Smaller classrooms a great staff of positive young teachers who work very very hard to ensure that my daughter is getting a good education. I would like to see more communication from the new principal like we did from the previous one (Mr. Boyd) hopefully that will happen in time.

My son has been at this school since Pre-K and I wouldn't dream of sending him anywhere else until he's ready for high school.

This is a great charter school with small classrooms. they have plenty of activities for the children to engage in and this is one of the few charter schools that have the bus.this school is a place where your child can thrive and stand out I recommend this school.

My daughter is in 6th grade and is in her 2nd year at Imagine Tempe. She seems to like it she has maintained her A's/B's that she has always had with the exception of a 'lapse' 2nd semester last year. The previous principal who recently left sadly was always available to talk about any/all concerns. This was so great. I've not met the new principal. ALL of the staff DO seem very approachable & always helpful. I do wish the class sizes were much smaller as I think that is the main appeal with charter schools so when a class size increases it is somewhat disconcerting. Despite that concern I am pleased with Imagine Tempe I would definitely NOT consider placing my child in public school and am very thankful to live in such close proximity to this charter school. I would really love it if they went beyond 8th grade however as I am not sure what we are going to decide for beyond that.

My son has attended this school since Pre-K. (He is now in 1st grade.) He really enjoys being a part of this school and has learned so much since he started there. I have had some issues with miscommunication; however the staff and administration have always been open to hearing about any issues and always do their best to resolve them. I can easily contact any of the staff by email or phone plus the teachers and staff constantly encourage parent involvement. I was drawn to this school because of that as well as the character development which is lacking in many public schools. Plus I really feel my son is in a safe and secure environment at this school. My youngest son will be ready to start Kindergarten for the 2014-2015 school year and I am excited for him to do so. This really is a great school especially if you are an actively involved parent. )
