Great teachers terrible administration at all levels. Building has mold issues that are not being resolved. Teachers are always wanting help with these issue but the administration just pushes it to the side. Now with taxes there is not enough money because alot of people rent their house so no taxes. It is a sad situation that is called beating the system. Even though with these issues there is a great staff of teachers that will teach even though they are putting there lives in jeopardy!

I will try to sum up my 4 years of experience with this school Kindergarden we had Mrs Yoder the screamer her approach to "try " to educate 5 year olds by screaming and terrorizing them did not work for us he cried every day before I had to send him to school . 1st grade we had Mrs Fogg best teacher in this sad excuse of a school my son flourished enjoyed going to school every day an learned so much . 2nd grade Mr. Brown pathetic teacher that punished my son put him in a desk by himself for 3 months !! Called him rude an obnoxious screamed and pointed his ridiculous sword at kids the lack of communication was despicable he was never opened to work on what works best for my son . 3rd grade Ms. Sinton tried her best but always brings her personal problems to work my son had a substitute for half of the year The principal did not approach bullying the proper way my son is very small and got picked on a daily base nothing was done in the end he skipped recess because of it an had to have lunch with the school counselor . The school counselor Mrs. Fogg an Mrs. Wilson were wonderful !!

Our experience with this teachers of this school has been outstanding. There is overcrowding in classroom and the building itself needs a facelift. But my special-needs daughter has gotten consistent caring and dedicated attention from her teachers both years we've been here. We're grateful for their dedicated effort.

This is a great school! My child is getting a great education and the teachers are some of the best around. I am amazed at how much he has learned to do in 1st grade!

Caln Elementary is a wonderful community school full of bright students. My oldest child attended Caln from 1st-5th and his experience was terrific. Caln teachers properly prepared him to be successful in middle school. My 7 yr old is in 1st grade and he loves his teacher. I appreciate how committed the teachers are too. Caln recently won the District Spelling Bee too.

Last year I wrote in about the experience my son had in Kindergarden at Caln. I was very pleased then and I can say I am very pleased this year too. My son has Miss Walker and she is outstanding!!! My son loves his school and is learning so many new facts. I think it is wonderful that Caln teaches their students to give back and get involved in the community along with teaching them normal every day studies. I also think is is awesome they promote school pride and encourage the kids to be proud of where they go. As for the other comments posted on here against Caln Teachers I haven't met one who does not love these kids and doesn't go above and behind. As for the building being run down who cares what matters is the education love and support given in those walls.

We love Caln. It is full of caring teachers who really know how to help all kids learn. They make a difference in a kid's life!

Very very disorganized. Always submitting and re-submitting student inforamtion. Always asking for money. It would seem like if they wern't so focused on their money problems they woud pay more attention to teaching.

We moved here three years ago very nervous to sent our daughter to caln but we decided to sent her for kindergarten and guess what now she is second grade doing great! We love caln no complains at all! We were so happy this year because of the pssa test results caln did really very good! Really proud of the teachers who work really hard and the students who are working hard to take the school to next level!

Prinsipal has no leadership. Many of the teachers are inexperinced and bring their personal lives into the classroom. Building is in disrepair. Blacktop for a playground with limited space. Large classes due to closing of elementry schools in Coatsville. Classes in relocatable classrooms. Extracurricular class are very expensive. If I had a choice my child wouldn't be attending this school.

We gave this school two years and each year they fell short. Many of the classrooms are disorderly and reflect the education. The teachers have positive attitudes with the exception of a few. The children get fifteen minutes for recess and fifteen minutes for lunch.

I didn't think this school was going to turn out good for my daughter but it has!!! She likes her teachers and school mates in Caln. Everyone is very nice and they let you know when there's trouble near by.

Principal has no leadership kids rule the school since there is no discipline a few teacher actually care about the students and are very good educators where others should choose a different profession. District always out of money keep raising already outrageous taxes no extra curricular programs old building in need of repairs or demolition don't sent your kids here.

Terrific faculty and staff. Always proactive in their approach with children. When necessary practice fair diciplinary actions with the children and never make the children feel bad about the experience. Children return to school knowing what is expected of them and with a better attitude. The school environment is pleasant and fosters an atmosphere conducive to learning. Every day my child steps off the school bus at the end of the day he tells me his day was awesome! That's what I appreciate most about Caln Elementary!

The class room sizes have increased to 30 kids per class. This I do not like.
