My child went to Wainwright after many successful years at Cole. What a difference! Wainwright was filled with bullies. The Principal never addressed any situation or problem. Those were all funneled down to the school counselor. There were even a couple of teachers who I felt bullied the students. They would put down students learning capabilities in front of the whole class. Don't get me started on the music program. It was a joke! "Concerts" were disorganized and students were rude. After the older students performed they would step off to the side and speak loudly while the younger students were singing. They all had their phones out texting and just generally being rude. Guess what? The Principal was sitting right there and did nothing. I would never send another child of mine to this school again.

I like this school personally. Things happen but not extremes (gun shooting drugs etc.) I've always done well in school and I'm currently leaving 7th grade. Mr.Koger is probably the best teacher there besides Mr.Maylath of course )

Overall this is a very good school. My daughter has done very well academically there. We moved here a little over a year ago and they were very welcoming and helpful. They made her feel like she was a part of their family right away. After just a couple of weeks attending they chose 3 kids for the yearbook staff out of about 30 and she was chosen. It made her feel so welcome. Though their sports teams don't win alot they still keep the kids involved and excited. They also welcome parental involvement. They also have excellerated programs here. I think your child would be very happy here. And so would you.
