We have moved around a lot and Farley is outstanding. The leadership is fabulous both of my son's teachers have been great and they make learning creative and fun. My mom is a retired principal and my dad still teaches so I feel like I can be a tough person to please. Unlike my son's previous school Farley is welcoming to single parent families and I enjoy being the room mother. There is a lot of parent and PTO involvement too. They go out of their way to be inclusive even welcoming me so my son would not be left out on Donuts with Dad Day. Even if we can buy a house at some point I will only do so within the Farley boundaries.

This school reminds me of curriculum mentality way back when. They use excuses to justify why they don't provide extracurricular activities. They say they concentrate on academics not distractions. Really??? Every statistical study in the past 15the years has proven the positive influence of extracurricular activities has on higher academic achievement as well as lower absentism and increased participation with decreased juvenile problems. One year was enough! Now in 501to school...child has been thriving and involved in...yes the 437I feared extracurricular activitities! Wow what an amazing change inhas enthusiasm and grades!....parent...please bewaredifference in my child's enthusis
