My son has attented Barton Graded since kindergarden and is now in 2nd grade. Overall the teachers and staff are terrific. They take the time to really interact with each child there. My son started in the middle of the kindergarden school year and came with some behavioral issues. He is now a thriving student and has many friends. I would like to see the curriculum challenge the students a little more than it does currently for benefit of the students. We need to stop thinking on just a 'Vermont' level and more on a national one so these kids can thrive and succeed.
