I am an ex employee of Huegel - I would like to share with parents how fortunate they are to have their children enrolled in Huegel Elementary. The entire staff are highly dedicated qualified caring individuals that prioritize the best interests of your child. T.Turner

Academic program is very good. Children are challenged by very good caring teachers. Principal is excellent and very involved. Parents are active volunteering and supporting school events. Very nice place.
Huegel is a great community school with lots of fun events throughout the year. The principal is young and energetic and the teachers are passionate and involved. My boys love going to school here.
I appreciate the sense of community and academic excellence the principal has created within a caring environment. My child had nothing but great things to say about the teachers and that has been my experience as well. My child grew here alot and now loves to read.
This school fails in all areas! Very disappointed! Looking for a new school for my children!
My older son went here from 2000-2006 and had a pretty good experience over all. Unfortunately I no longer feel as happy about this school as my second child works his way through. We are moving to a different school within Madison and the erosion of teacher quality is part of that decision.
