Regents Exams (RE)

In 2011-2012 New York used the New York State Regents Examinations to test high school students in English language arts, math, global history and geography, US history and government, living environment, chemistry, earth science, physics and several foreign languages. The results for English language arts, math, living environment, chemistry, earth science, physics, global history and geography, and US history and government are displayed in GreatSchools profiles. Students must take at least five Regents Exams in order to graduate. Scores of 65 and above are passing; scores of 55 and above earn credit toward a local diploma (with the approval of the local board of education). The goal is for all students to pass the tests.

I've had two kids go thru this school and this school is clean and safe. Unfortunately they don't reward those who work hard and let the loosers get by with not working at all. Most teachers are their to collect a pay check and could care less about preparing the kids for college. I guess this is what you get from a upstate ny education.

All three of my children have gone to this school. It is clean safe and the majority of the teachers care. For a small poor area it's as good as you can get.
