In 2013-2014 New York used the New York State Assessments to test students in grades 3 through 8 in English language arts and math, and in grades 4 and 8 in Science. At present 2013-14 results are available only for English language arts and math. Sherburne Elementary is more than 10 years old now and it still looks brand new. Everything about it is awesome. the technology is very up to date and the staff is great. I went there for kindergarden the first year it opened. Amazing place. I hope to be a teacher there after college!

This school is child oriented and doing everything to help ALL kids. How do I know? I was a school psychologist there for 16 years until my retirement. Great school-Great Teachers and Superintendent too.

This school is wonderful. The staff is very caring and the building is bright and clean. There are many opportunities for students to have fun while learning. They have a great Character Education program and students can play an active role in their school (voting on where the boxtops for ed. are used). My son struggled in another local school but found the nurturing he needed here.
